Probably a fair statement.
One of the bigger differences between 2018 and 2019 was the play of him and #54.

Why that was is subject of great debate that we have all had enough of.

Let's just get on with getting them back to where we need them to be.

He has more to prove than alot of the hated players on the team.

Oftentimes, it takes hateful fans to hate on players who deserve better than the fans who offer their worst side. Far too many of us don't take it into consideration that the players that they hate on get hurt and can't please their druthers. Being self-serving is anything but a good look.

He has more to prove. He had a pro bowl year his rookie year. Then even before he was injured he regressed. Then got a neck injury that was a red flag from when he left college. I'm giving him a fresh slate. One good year one bad year. This year he starts at 0 for me.

How generous of you! Give him a chance to prove himself and you won't be disappointed. If he can do well once, he can do it twice.

Oftentimes, these injuries are a gradually, incrementally-inflicted disablement. I doesn't necessarily mean a player is "dogging it."

I never said he was dogging it. He was not playing well before his injury. That's a fact. I saw him do it once. I want to see him do it again and be more consistent. I don't get hot and bothered over 1 year wonders.

The "other than" is a fair bit significant, no?

Sure, I guess. Lots of players in that category of ‘coming back from an injury’ though. He’s otherwise a really gifted, smart, hardworking player who made an impact the day he stepped on the field.

I honestly had no idea any fan at all had an issue with LVE’s play his rookie season. I mean, I should have guessed, but I’m still somehow surprised.
Not many do and maybe you need to not overreact.

The guy had a significant injury. No fault of his own or anyone else, but anyone who isnt gonna pay attention the first time he has to stick his neck into a pile isn't paying attention.

No one is criticizing him. Wow.

Fair enough -- hopefully, LVE will get back on track and Jaylon might be suited to do better on the weak side. Lee will be Lee for however long he's able to stay himself. Otherwise, corrections would be in order.
