I'm arguing how often conduct detrimental occurs. How about you? What are you arguing?
Your link doesn't apply to a guaranteed $10 million contract. You can't even show a suspension and a loss of a game check from last year which is the only way your link applies.

Nope. Sorry. You can cover your eyes if you want to. I can see just fine. Conduct detrimental happens a lot.

They don't need to show anything from last year, just this year. And they're already looking into it.

But you can practice willful ignorance if you want, no skin off my back.

Didn't Antonio Brown get suspended for conduct detrimental and that's how the Raiders got out from under the record setting WR contract they gave AB that offseason?

Let's "monitor" every player from every team that has a scuffle during training camp. Call us the Dallas Monitors now.

I mean I get that Earl is intense and he's a dawg and all, but isn't he a little old to be doing some of the stuff he's doing?

It''s good to be intense and fiery and have an alpha male demeanor but if you're the leader, and if you're a true leader, you also have
to have to be a calming influence.

When the defense goes thru a rough start,..is going thru a rough half ...or is going thru a collapse at game's end that jeopardizes
their chance to win,.. then it's that time when a true leader has to emerge as a leader.
Presents his presence that settles and stabilizes his teammates - and he knows the best way(s) to go about correcting and rallying
his teammates in an attempt to get them to respond. How he translate communication and authority is a big key.
Remember Sean Lee rallying teammates on sideline vs Detroit Lions in 2016?

And note how the Ravens did not send home the other DB (Chuck Clark?) that was mentioned in the clash .. it was just Earl Thomas.
So does that tell me that not only did Earl clash with the teammate,.. but did he also clash with the coaches as well ?

All reports I've seen today have kind of pointed at Earl Thomas being a suspect teammate.

I think the organization was low key mad at him for lying/mishandling information related to his altercation with his wife during the offseason, and he's been somewhat of a nuisance in the locker room.

Thomas is often viewed as an aloof teammate and there has been talk that he has been late or missed meetings this season.
If that is true, then the Ravens could build a case that his conduct is detrimental to the team and they could void his contract.

As it stands, the Ravens would have to absorb a $15-million cap this season and $10 million next year if they released him.
That's simply too much money to go that route

.

This in a nutshell.........but to me, there more serious issue for him is the team council want him gone. Teammates as rule are player's most tolerant allies. It's rare to see teammates kick another teammate to the curve.

If you think Zeke is a turd wait to Jerrah introduces ET. Watching him play last season he lost a step but he is a student of the game and his instincts are still good. I think him and HaHa would actually work with our young corners. I just don’t see the cutting him unless the void the deal.
I hear what your saying but just for the record I think zeke is a turd as a human being, he’s crap. As a player I still think he’s top 10, probably around 7th, but would be much lower without this O line.

I can't lie...I wish Dallas had made a serious run at ET. They haven't had his kinda fire or attitude on defense in decades. The whole tenor of the team would be different with him in the locker room.

Oh well...I'm sure this will blow over as just another camp altercation. The Ravens are loaded and should be tough to beat (as usual).
No thanks. The team leadership counsel doesn’t want him back on the field and is urging the team to drop him. IF the players want him gone, he’s messed up.

stupid players, silly fools. I didn't want him then, nor now. His approach to things are just counter to common sense. kills me how each time these things happen they are tied to the Cowboys directly or indirectly. We have enough issues on the team to add this clown.

I question Zeke’s behavior as a human as well. What Earl allegedly did to his wife might be grounds for a castration. The more information I see on ET, the Ravens might be better off cutting him. He is becoming a distraction.

Couldn’t agree more.

So do you actually live in Baltimore? Not joking, I’ve always wanted to know if the crabby patties are all that or is it just hype?

If the Cowboys passed before, chances are they pass on Thomas now. May be retirement time for Earl.

I've been there several times. The crab 'flows' through everything there, it's in great abundance and added to every dish you can think of. And it's plentiful and delicious!

I'd say the odds are much slimmer for sure. And he's always looked for more money than the Cowboys were willing to pay. And now he's clearly an attitude problem whose life sounds like a mess off the field as well.
