So jerry just gave away why this is the way it is. They wanted to protect the young players they want to get to the practice squad

Cowboys S Xavier Woods seems to be in good spirits, standing on sideline, laughing with teammates. Promising sign after he left practice early. With Woods no longer in uniform, more opportunity for coaches to evaluate their safety group.

Right. I don't have a problem with what they are doing. I wanted to see some football, but if doing something like this helps win games, that's more important.
