What's funny to me is when people throw out the good years of a QB so that Dak can compare to them.

And yes....relax...I get it...it's a what have you done for me lately thing. But still.....

And yes...I think Dak can win it all with some luck and good team...just like any other QB ever. But hasn't yet....so chill.

So this writer thinks Dak's better than Brady and Rodgers?
Anyone with a brain knows he was last year and likely is going forward.
Brady is not prime Brady or even close. Metrics put him very far down the list.
Rodgers has been bad and fought with his coaches, been injured and now had a 1st round QB drafted to be his back up all in the past 3 seasons.
Again, anyone with a brain grades these guys fairly low based on last season.

**As an added note Brady and Rodgers could both have bounce back seasons. BUT Aaron still doesn't much in the way of weapons has never handled QB comps well and GB doesn't seem all that keen on his future as they drafted his replacement instead of a WR in round 1.
Brady is going to have elite weapons but is VERY aged by even QB standards.
And if these guys can elevate because of situation than Dak with this WR corps is likely blowing up.

"Prescott a score (out of 100) of 90 for “Process”, 90 for “Throws”, and 85 for “Creativity."

"The five quarterbacks ranked ahead of Prescott are as followed (from five to one): Drew Brees, Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson, Russell Wilson, and Patrick Mahomes."

Watson gets a whole lot of love for someone who hasn’t done much. Dude is good, but if he were a Cowboy he’d be viewed a lot differently.

Winning 40 games under Garrett makes Dak potential All-Pro material with a good head coach.

This will be a very interesting year.

Anyone with half a brain knows Dak is one of the 10 best QBs in football.

That may sound like a low bar, but remember... we live in a country where 40-45% of the population is too stupid to properly assess factual information, and therefore dismiss facts that they don’t like altogether.

This board is no different.
Truer words have never been spoken.

I'm thinking about what either of those two could do with this offense, and I really think Brady would definitely put up more wins than Dak, and Rodgers probably would too. Not knocking Dak, these guys are, or at least were, the elite QBs in the past decade. How much they have left is hard to say, but I think either of them would do better with the offensive line and weapons we have than they did on their respective teams last year.

Possibly. Brady is such a shell of what he was, I'm not sure he can even play any more. NE's record last year was mostly a result of their #1 D. In their last super bowl win over the Rams, Brady was awful. Barely better than Goff, who was Gawdawful.

Single safety, man coverage on the outside.. Pretty much all of them were first read, no progression throws...

Like George Carlin said, think how dumb the average person is. Then realize 1/2 the population is even dumber.

That's not how you rank them.
They will go out and produce based on what offenses they are in and what players are around them and that is how you rank them.
When Dak was saddled with Beasley as WR1 no one gave him any slack for being the 19th best QB in football.
Add Amari and he hops into top 10 in production and people still badly want to see him as mediocre.
That's just not accurate and hasn't been.

Brady struggled with accuracy and has lost athleticism and arm strength.
Dude is only a few years younger than me and mannn the body is just not the same.
Rodgers has been limited by injuries and attitude and weapons around him.
He may be the best natural QB of all-time but there's also a reason he fell in he draft.
People just generally hate the dude. His family, coaches, teammates are lukewarm at best on him.
And those are the ones still speaking to him.

If someone wants to artificially rank Rodgers and Brady high so be it, but complaining that someone took it seriously and ranked them where he expects them to fall this season isn't right.

Yeah... looking at the stats I concede that to be true. However, at the same time why does it feel like Dallas has never won anything?
3 QBs have won the SB since Dak was drafted:
Pat Mahomes
Nick Foles
Tom Brady x2. --The first was four years go. The 2nd came while scoring 13 points.

It's been 6 years since Russell Wilson won a SB.
9 since Aaron Rodgers.
10 since Drew Brees.

Lamar Jackson has been TREMENDOUS. He's never won a playoff game.
