Perhaps this time they won't be another paper champion.

Memo to Zeke:

PROVE IT!
hes SAID Team, hardly can do that on his own, the defense is markedly better then 2016 , OL is only spot that not improved, however will be pretty good once they sync up but add new coaching staff, i share his positivity..

“Look how many pro bowlers we have out there”. Obviously zeke isn’t aware that the Pro Bowl is a popularity contest and the Cowboys are the most popular team. See Jaylon Smith.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
If you were a Rams Fan would you want to open a new place with the Cowboys?
Take them over KC, BAL but they should have opened that stadium with either the Chargers or the Niners. I think opening with the two teams that will share it would have been a nice touch.

But they will get all of the attention having the darling team that has accomplished nothing in 25 seasons except for some odd reason, people like to watch them excel at mediocrity.

Besides that, the Rams are hoping the Cowboys rise to the occasion like that did closing and opening their last stadiums.

We hear this every year and the team constantly underperforms.

Hopefully MM can get this team over the hump

As a rookie, Ezekiel Elliott was on a team that finished 13-3 and with the best record in the NFC. As he enters his fifth season, he believes the 2020 Cowboys are the most talented team he has been on. “Just look at the depth chart, look at the roster, look at how many Pro Bowlers, how many All-Pro guys we have out there,” Elliott said. “And I mean I think it’s the best.”

No offense but isn’t this said publicly every year by players on just about every team? Never heard a star player on a team come out before a season “yeah we suck, we will be lucky to win a game”.

I don't disagree.

But having a collection of talented individuals doesn't win championships....teams do.

So, therein is the rub for the Cowboys every year.

Here's hoping this year is different.

Sure the O-Line has same names, but the age is a huge difference between those 2 squads. You put that 2016 O-Line on this team, and I would guarantee a playoff BYE week. Very different philosophies between both, or so I hope. 2016 was a ball-control offense to keep our average/mediocre defense fresh. The best team I've witnessed to play with a lead. I hope that philosophy is long gone, on both sides of the ball.

Well, 13-3 had the mediocre QB starting and they lost to a decimated GB team that had bums in the secondary and was giving up 400 plus yards a game going into the play-offs.. we still have the mediocre QB, but a lot more talented skill players.

The only real questions are Center and Dak, who led an offense that completely sucked by the end of the season and only looked better on paper because of stat padding in garbage time..

QB is way off who made names out of Laurent Robinson, Terrance Williams, and Miles Austin and even Dez Bryant. ****. I was one of the first to call our wr group out, and behold Dak was nothing before Amari came.

I'm thinking more depthwise. Having Dak and Dalton harkens back to the days when we had quality backups to Aikman.

Technically, I guess you could say we had a better backup in 2016 when Romo was behind Dak. Again, remember, we're considering the most talent since Elliott has been here ... and Romo was hurt for a lot of that year.
