Sorry?
What the hay was that about?
Answering "Why is the world so crazy?" I know it's a little off topic.
Sorry?

you dont know me... I can promise you I dont give 1 **** about what anyone thinks of me except my wife and kids. I am an open book, but I dont go on social media and cry. My wifes dad died 2 years ago, it was devastating to me. But I didnt have any need to go on facebook and cry and post about it. Not because im worried about what others will think, but people on facebook arnt the ones I share those things with.Because you are afraid of what others might think of you. But in the real world people suffer from depression and who knows how many lives are saved from people with mental health issues seeing a athlete admit to it. The world is bigger than football.
you my friend are absolutely clueless. In the military, in theater, you dont have time to sit and be depressed and cry. Your brothers all depend on you, as you do them. I have no issues/....... but then again, I understood a combat zone wasnt the place to sit and whine about my "feelings."Alright well just because you’re old and didn’t take care of your mental health doesn’t mean these young guys should be as reckless and do the same. You clearly have some form of brain damage and should’ve seemed some from of mental help being as insensitive you are towards people with depression.
and us gulf war vets clearly did have it easier than VietnamThe difference is that Dak is talking about dealing with normal recovery issues that every has. You would have a point if Dak was talking about this stuff in the huddle in the 4th quarter of a close game. He wasn't, he said he dealt with several emotional blows and he said it like a normal person should.
And I was in Desert Storm too and had Vietnam Vets tell me I had it easier than they did. They were right, and those guys had WWII Vets telling them the same thing.
The WWII Vets had WWI Vets telling them "You wimps got hot chow and free cigarettes"
Go seek some help. It’s never too late.you my friend are absolutely clueless. In the military, in theater, you dont have time to sit and be depressed and cry. The whole world knows that Dak lost his mom.Dak has lost his mom and his brother earlier than he should have. Jeez Skip....
I wouldn't have known about it unless Skip spoke about it, don't remember it being mentioned here on the board. Outside of Dak pointing up at his mom, not sure of your angle. His mom is part of his pr?The whole world knows that Dak lost his mom.
He is not the only one who has lost a loved one but he feels the need to let his pain be known.
To each their own on losing loved ones as its a very sad and heartbreaking event.
So you're sayin you lift weights? Cool storyit is horrible, today we are woke, where everyone gets to be sad and sot around and cry. well, go ahead and be sad as the world just kicks your *** all over the place day after day. Someone once said you better be training, EVERYDAY, because when you get on that ring, your opponent is life, and life will knock your *** out if you arent prepared. Mean? Cruel? not sensitive? yea, thats called reality.
yupactually showing the sensitivity he did makes him a better teammate. if he bottled it up and didn't show he cares about his FAMILY, would his teammates think he cared about them? it makes him human. it makes him a person and it makes him real, that he cares......skip is stupid. he is obviouly lacking leadership or understanding what leadership is, so his comments about leadership are stupid
You and he share this ... shortcoming. No one has ever accused Skip of being a smart man.
lol woo boy, what a piece of crap.
"I don't have sympathy for (Dak) for going public about his depression."

this is why some folks don't open up about what they're goin' through...and try to fight off the approaching wolves by themselves.
