because most of those games Zeke was destroying teams in the first half and the play calling went south all passing...zeke led the league in first half yards , hardly got carry's in the second half in many games...keep the facts straight..

coaching works both ways KM was horrible about balancing the run game with the pass and because pass happy like the old OC Garett days..

I agree. It's all on the coaching. The offense isn't all on Dak's shoulders to carry the team. It's a balance of both Dak and Zeke/Pollard.

Some people feel he is negotiating like he is. Superman. So they expect him to be.
I mean has he not been especially for a fourth round pick? He would go first overall if that draft was redone. It’s hard to recall a game that he lost for us, or a crucial interception/fumble. So-called experts said that he would be a project and a back up quarterback at best. The dude has straight up balled out and if I were in his shoes, I would ask for more

It’s week one. Opening week is always crazy. Especially this year. I could easily see us lose this game.

It’d suck. But the season is long. People would be hopping off the bandwagon at light speed, though, which is always amusing to watch.

I would say they let their pregame activities distract them from doing their jobs.

The Rams are expected to be competitive this year. A Cowboy's loss is certainly in the realm of possibility. I

Games with Zeke under 72 yards = LOSS.

Sep. 29: Dallas 10 @ New Orleans 12
Zeke - 35 yards.

Oct. 6: Green Bay 34 @ Dallas 24
Zeke - 62 yards.

Nov. 10: Minnesota 28 @ Dallas 24
Zeke - 47 yards.

Nov. 28: Buffalo 28 @ Dallas 15
Zeke - 71 yards.

Dec. 22: Dallas 9 @ Philly 17
Zeke - 47 yards.
Of course. That means we stopped running the ball. You blaming playcalling on Zeke now?

Yup, too much of a bother to win games or anything stupid like that, just hold the team hostage for every penny so you can be 8-8 every year, great idea.

By mid season if we are not in 60% * win territory , and dak does not look good , there will be an overhaul of this tram and dak will be in danger .

Right now watching the replay of the divisional playoff against the Rams . Our offense shows no imagination and the defense looks tired from the hidden. I sure hope the new coaching staff makes the difference.

Zeke averaged 5.9 vs the Bills and 5.2 vs. the Packers last year.

Might want to check facts before you say stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Only 12 attempts in each game so it gets skewed. For example in the Buff game he had a 30 yard run. Take that away and is YPC is under 4. When you pay so much money to a RB and an OL in a cap environment you need to be better than we were last year. The Cowboys could not run the ball when they needed to last year and that was the biggest problem, not Dak. Zeke only went over 100 yards once in a loss and that was when he got 28 carries. They need to be better running the ball in short yardage and in the red zone than last year. Maybe the problem was Zeke, maybe it was the OL, maybe it was the play calling or more pointedly (and what I think) the predictability of the sets we lined up in that telegraphed what we were doing. I don't assign blame, just pointing out what needs to be better.

But of course Dak had some big spots where he needs to be better too, but also had a fractured finger for the Bears and Rams games and a shoulder problem late in the year. He shouldn't even have been playing in the Eagles game. He had to not only get a shot before the game, but at halftime too. If Dak can repeat 2019 for the rest of his career this team is going to have a lot of playoff success, a lot. Now the defense last year in big spots...don't even get me started on that

my reaction?

"Bummer. Well, there's plenty of season left and even SB winning Cowboys teams have started 0-2! Go Cowboys!"
