I actually think "Washington Football Team" with plain numbers on their helmet works. I also think Red Wolves works pretty well, that or Red Hawks, although there is another Hawks team, but no Wolves one, so wolves would be better.

I don't think the Commanders will ever rename. They will wait for the politics to die down and either go back to Commanders or keep things the way they are and let the fans call the team what they want.
