First....it gets very frustrating when the refs are allowed to affect the outcome that much. They HAVE to fix things like that with replay or challenges. Otherwise, whats the point of ANY replay?

MM not going for tie was an awful decision. I'm not sure if he wanted to make an impression on the fanbase or whatever, but it cost them, and we all knew it would. There seemed to be a lot of rushing instead of confidence at the time.

Why in the end, with 90 or so yards to go, one TO, and plenty of time....and only needing a FG....did it seem like the task was so daunting?

21 was very explosive. A massive positive.

Steele seemed to be ok. Have to rewatch.

Jaylon Smith does not belong on an NFL football field at any position. He is slow and just terrible instinctively and has zero toughness.

LVE....nice knowing you. Sorry. You made you money. The FO counted on you and its their fault, not yours. Coaching is in your future.

Diggs has some serious heart and was involved physically in many plays. Yes he got beat deep but at least turned around on the ball. Dont see much of that in Dallas.

This team has nothing to speak of defensively. I thought it may take some time for them to gel but that's not the issue. They have no heart and are soft beyond belief.

I'm personally stunned and upset that MM made an in game decision that was mind blowing and at least contributed to this loss.

I really thought we would get much better in that department immediately, and that's apparently not the case. Need to sleep on that one, maybe I wont much.

Anyway hang in there folks. Long season. Crappy division. Let's not overreact.

Thanks all....

..I might be the only one seeing Dallas did Ok tonight. Lost by 3 points to a good team. Neither side let their guard down. I still think we can be pull together at least 10 wins.

I thought the Rams were better in the trenches both sides by a little. The sad part is the Rams arent exactly loaded in the trenches other than Donald.

Going for it in fourth in that was probably an advanced stat thing. That would be a definite example of when you dont go with the chart if true

The Rams didnt play a good game

But those guys from Dallas?

They played worse and Kellen Moores offense is just bad

Seemed like a lot of Garrett residue. Big Mike has to take over the mentality of the offense.

Zeke is the man.

Go sign every OT with an ounce of talent.

Go sign Snacks and a real SS to help the run defense.

Overall, not disappointed. They can play better, and I think they'll do better next week and beyond.

4th and THREE is what made me think no.

Or course they got two.

Just hurts that after a decade of Garrett we lost because we got outcoached.

That doesnt make me all that confident moving ahead....and I saw zero that made me think this team is any better than last year's was.

Not enough throws down field. Cooper nor Pollard was ever really used in the slot. And not many misdirection plays.

They covered pretty good all night, rushed our qb when it counted and tackled with a purpose. The Rams are a good well coached ball club and we still almost beat them at their palace.

Me likey. Nice summation.

I'm trying hard to see the light concerning this D, but I just don't see it at present. Maybe Mikey was left w/ too much of a clusterfudge on D, don't know.

I agree, I think the offense will get better with LC back and Zeke looked great. I am concerned about the defense though. They did a great job to hold the Rams to 20, but man we need to find some answers to those quick passes. The Rams are a good team and Im actually suprised this game wasn't more sloppy considering no preseason.

Going for it on 4th down might be something you do with Aaron Rodgers. But not with DAK
