He is a total waste of space and money. Goes to show you they play for the contract.

Did you guys notice how fast LA was getting the ball out. Practically the whole game they were getting it out in well under 3 seconds.

Collinsworth made a big deal out of it several times. How did you miss this?
Yes a lot of Goff's throws were thrown within 2.5 seconds to negate the pass rush.

even his one good year was when he wracked up stats thanks to playing a really bad giants team twice. Most of his sacks that year came against them. If you looked at just playoff teams he had like 1/2 a sack that year. But everyone was clamoring for him to be singed and how awful it would be if he walked,

If you look at players with 10-15 sacks in a year, the vast majority will come in 4-5 games. They are very rarely evenly spread as you get sacks when there is an exploitable matchup.

There’s a lot of over paid players on this team there is about to be another at QB soon. That’s the Dallas Cowboys. Everybody gets paid and the team stays mediocre.

Nate Solder and it's not even close

Gaints made him the highest paid offensive lineman in the league and he proceeds by being stastically one of the worst tackles in the entire NFL for 2 straight years and then gets all pissy that they draft his replacement and does the whole "uhhh i'm sitting out this year due to covid"

Absolute garbage of a signing. Lawrence isn't even in the same league in terms of being overpaid

And he opted out for his sick child.

Go check how quickly the Rams got the ball out of Goff's hands and come back.

Good point.

It's good coaching: play on our weakness in the secondary and get the ball there as quickly as possible, thus negating Lawrence and our best player on the night Aldon.

Not the team, probably the LEAGUE. All bark no bite. Didn’t do a damn thing even with having less attention on him. Tired of the guy!

Good post. He is vastly overpaid. The hand writing was on the wall with him. His best season was the contract year. Before that he was an average and often hurt DE. The best defensive player last night had not played a snap in almost 5 years.

LVE, Smith, Lawrence, and Crawford are all big names that are worthless on the field.

I agree with you but @aria would probably tell you the most overpaid is Zeke.
100% he is, without a doubt, Dlaw is a close second. He’s good but RB’s don’t win championships and Jerrah chose to overpay him instead of Byron.

The 2015 undrafted free agent for the Rams put up identical numbers as zeke last night. That doesn’t mean he’s better but it does show that you don’t need to spend that kind of money on RB’s to win games. It wasn’t just last night either, it’s obvious every week throughout the league. Sure, there are times when RB’s make great plays but the juice ain’t worth the squeeze in the long run.

D Law played Jerruh like a fiddle. Just like everyone before him and everyone after him. We are a franchise with no real idea what it takes to win. We are a franchise that really only cares about making it's "star" players happy.

Thats definitely true, that's why Nolan started to dial up some more exotics and it worked enough for the cowboys to win. Even when the cowboys were up at half it didn't feel great, it's as if it was fools gold and alas end result confirms what I felt.

Yeah, I can think of several players to complain about before Dlaw.

Sure I get that, but his stats were incredibly skewed by the teams we played that year. The Giants twice and a really bad Detroit team, those three games game him over half the sacks he amassed that year. But that same year we played playoff bound teams like the Saints, Philly twice and I want to say the Rams - in all those game the guy got a half a sack against Philly. I’m not saying he needs to be Lawrence Taylor here and sure there can be games where he won’t have a sack.
