I want Minshew! And the Jaguars would probably want to get rid of him if they can get a decent draft pick. I'd go as high as a 2nd rounder

So many of the same excuses after the game, while the same people were telling us how this offense would explode, because all the pieces are in place...

They even thought Dak could learn a new offense in an off-season, when it took him a week to throw a TD in training camp in year 3. How does any WR build fluidity with a QB like that...
Did you see Amari's expression after Dak hit him in the side of his leg.

It was EXTRA stoic:laugh:

And his fans tried to say that was a catcheable pass. Of course these stans conveniently forget Amari’s one-handed grab on one of Dak’s overthrows. Dak, again, had happy feet in the red zone. He basically panicked after he saw his first read, Zeke in a man situation at that, being coveted.

Now the excuses are that his fans actually watch other QBs, who do the same things at game time. Uh no they don’t for FIVE YEARS running...

Good for you. I have no problem with you guys hating Dak, except for the fact you guys won’t admit you hate Dak. I find it bizarre.
This is what gets frustrating. It doesn’t have to be one extreme or the other. You can say Dak is a good QB but lethal to the organization if you sign him to elite money when he needs too much help. Trent Dilfer wasn’t great. He was good and needed a lot of help around him. A #10 paid contract is what Is best for Dak as the QB which would give him plenty of weapons around him to succeed.

A fan who “hates” Dak is not looking to sign him to any contract. We just want a realistic one which will allow him to enjoy a defense that will keep him in the game. Or an offensive line that can get him the extra second or two that he needs.

The people running around calling us Dak haters are willing to give him Pat Mahomes money then spend the next 5 years defending his poor results because the “team” sucks around him.

I dont use the word Hate.

What I have been taught about the word HATE. . . is that it is unrationale and taints the way you perceive said target of hate. Hate is an emotion of small minded people who can't probably justify their outlook.

HATE is thrown around too liberally (LITERALLY)

You need to ask yourself why that is . . . then ask yourself Why you use it so nonchalantly. . . Everything in Society is scripted and you are being manipulated, evidence by your need to label someone . . .

a HATER

You are contributing to the downfall of a society of Reason. Instead of logically discussing ideas and coming to a reasonable conclusion . . . you attack and Label someone a Hater and walk off thinking you made a valid point and won the argument

This mental retardation effects the youth like a plague. . . it transcends all of Society.

So I will let my explanation of what I feel stand and . . . Not the "HATEFUL" Label you spew
Well, regardless of label, your posts on this board is exactly the hatefulness going on in other parts of society. You do not rationally discuss Dak. You set out to bash him in any possible way. He is not anywhere near as bad as you try to make him out to be but you make sure to take every opportunity to rag on him.

Incorrect.

Cousins threw for 4,917 in 2016. Schaub threw for 4,700+ one year.
They must think this is the 80 or something when they mention average qb's and throwing yards nowadays. Heck didn't Jameis throw similar numbers to Dak last year and I doubt most of the people saying Dak isn't average would say Jameis is some world beater.

You want him to start? Im showing you we are going no where with him. lol. But yet again. You would rather be right about Dak then see the team succeed
That in no way proves anything. . . you must realize that. You know you are only throwing that stat out to talk ****.

If I was a Bengals Fan I would take offense and feel some type of way. . . but since I am a Cowboys Fan, I see a loaded team that will shine with a Dalton.

The extremes are easy to identify.

Its a good thing we aren't routing for the Bengals of 8 years ago. What kind of QB was Steve Young in Tampa? By your logic the 49ers should never had won a Super Bowl with him
Young played 2 years in TB. He threw 138 passes in his rook year. Too small of a sample

His 2nd year he was terrible also. 363 attempts. On a terrible TB team. Last in the NFL on D.

So, I'm not really understanding the parallel. What are you trying to say?

This is your argument against the statement that Dalton has been bad in the playoffs? Steve Young hadn't been to the playoffs before the 49ers, so this doesn't make sense.

The 49ers were Youngs first chance to play on a solid NFL team. Dalton was on a team that made the playoffs 4 consecutive years. You aren't talking apples to apples.

Dak didn’t even beat a ranked team in college in his Senior Year and in typical fashion, he padded his stats against them in blow out losses. Like I said a about a week ago, the only time Dallas really performed on offense last year, when the games were still close, is right before the half, when they go hurry up. Just go look at the game logs and see the full game logs by drives. It was the same thing last night..

His whole career here has been marred by that first season, when Linehan was baby-sitting him and Linehan was able to utilize Beasley in a way that had him isolated one on one with LBs, which teams adjusted too after year 1. Dallas completely simplified the offense for this guy and has had to progressively take baby-steps for this guy.

I can pretty much guarantee you that the ‘leadership’ being spoken about Dak is him being the same age as pretty much everybody on the roster and him hanging with them in the off-season. That first season deluded plenty of this dudes on the roster.

Average QBs dont throw for 5000 yards. They also dont have over 40 wins to their name.

In 1976, Bert Jones threw for 3104 yards. That was easily the most passing yards in that season. He threw for 24 TDs, 2nd most behind Stablers 27, and only 9 INTs, which was one more then the league leading 8 for best in the league among starters. He had 15. Y/C, 2nd in the league, and 9.3 AYC, 1st in the league.

Now, I know that doesn't sound like much but in those days, that was a huge season. But even though Jones had that monster year, he was really not a great QB. He was just OK. Average QBs do have great seasons but it doesn't mean they are always great. It just means that they sometimes have years that are great. I don't think it's wise to depend on seasons like that without lots of supporting info the suggests it's the norm as opposed to an outlier.
