You are lost in the sauce.
I am not lost. You are just in denial. Look at the definition of hater. You already claimed you despise Dak as the QB. You fit the definition. Own your attitude.

hat·er
/ˈhādər/

noun
  1. a person who greatly dislikes a specified person or thing.
    "a man hater"

This is your argument against the statement that Dalton has been bad in the playoffs? Steve Young hadn't been to the playoffs before the 49ers, so this doesn't make sense.

The 49ers were Youngs first chance to play on a solid NFL team. Dalton was on a team that made the playoffs 4 consecutive years. You aren't talking apples to apples.
Because Dalton got them there. The talent if the Bengals were never considered as World Beaters, in fact they have been a hot mess. I am surprised Andy had any success there.

His homers had the audacity to compare him to Mahomes, because Mahomes wasn’t completely sharp on Thursday night. Guess what? Mahomes ROOKIE RB netted like 80% of his yards on six men in the box or less... Mahomes is NEVER going to see the looks Dak is getting, otherwise he’d throw for like 6000 yards and put up 40-50TDs Per season regularly...

Dak wasn’t the problem.

Passing up a FG to tie the game was a big mistake.

Defense sucks as usual.

The problem is he wasn’t the problem but absolutely wasn’t the answer and that’s what franchise QB’s are.

I love the kid and I hope we succeed with him but you can’t throw for 79 yards in the 2nd half of an NFL game the way it’s played today.

Dalton has QB privilege to get excuses made for him.

The defense? The defense allowed the Rams to play keep away most of the 1st half, and gave up 153 rushing yards. The Rams offense was a able to control the clock.

Pretty sure the defense didn't let the rams do much the 4th quarter and part of the 3rd. Our offense didnt do anything during that time.

Now the defense of Dak-stans is that how haters have an agenda and hate him. Like I said, everybody has an agenda and those that have invested so much in defending him and love him, know they will probably look stupid after defending him this long and they are trying to save face. So they are just as much ‘personal’ and have an agenda as those that hate them. It’s patently clear on how they personally attack those that don’t like Dak and have resorted to bringing up ‘intentions’ of the person making the post, as if that has anything to do with the validity of the arguments. Like I said, many of these same Dak defenders will bash Zeke endlessly, but make excuses for Dak day in and day out, while defenses actually fear Zeke and the RG...

What does that have to do with Steve Young, and how does this negate the statement that Dalton has not played well in the playoffs??

In 1976, Bert Jones threw for 3104 yards. That was easily the most passing yards in that season. He threw for 24 TDs, 2nd most behind Stablers 27, and only 9 INTs, which was one more then the league leading 8 for best in the league among starters. He had 15. Y/C, 2nd in the league, and 9.3 AYC, 1st in the league.

Now, I know that doesn't sound like much but in those days, that was a huge season. But even though Jones had that monster year, he was really not a great QB. He was just OK. Average QBs do have great seasons but it doesn't mean they are always great. It just means that they sometimes have years that are great. I don't think it's wise to depend on seasons like that without lots of supporting info the suggests it's the norm as opposed to an outlier.
High yardage seasons don't mean anything except that the team usually doesn't win.

Winston threw for 5,109 last season, and he's below average. All that yardage got him a backup position this season!!!!

I was actually shocked to see someone make that claim. FF player, maybe?

Can anyone tell me why this organization refuses to put the game on the shoulders of Zeke? Had last nights game been predicated off the run, all of the other deficiencies that we’re arguing over would seem less significant.

Is it that the team doesn’t believe in Zeke’s ability or is it because they question Zeke’s willingness to step up? I think we know the truth.

Dak isn’t great, but Zeke could be great, and it’s his refusal to live up to his ability that is haunting the offense.

Yes it will. I will critique every throw. I will blame him for every failed play, give credit to others for anything positive that happens, and highlight every negative. You know, just like how you act with Dak . I just won’t lie about being a Dalton hater.

The only team that can be said to be as dumb as the Cowboys for starting Dak and investing so much in him, are the Rams for paying Goff that much, which is the only thing that gives legitimacy to the argument Dak should get money. Basically, it’s if the Rams did something completely stupid, the Cowboys should as well... Goff is terrible... And so is Dak.. but at least Goff can do a 5-7 step drop and isn’t as limiting as Dak is...

I agree. Great years from QBs are not usually linked to record throwing yards. Great seasons by QBs are marked by Wins, especially in the post season. Not regular season stats.

That's okay if you want to succeed with him but I'm all for us stinking bad enough to get the number 1 pick and taking our chances with a new QB. I know otherwise most wouldn't want to get rid of Alex Smith Jr so at least that way we can have a potential "Mahommes" to lead the homers away from Smith Jr. Dak is who he is at this point an average QB that does just enough to not get most to throw him to the wolves. Just like his QB brothers Cousins and Smith and it will be hard pressed to win big with them having to carry the team for any long period of time.

Absolutely the offense stalled some in the second half - a decision not to kick a FG, a 3rd down sack, a couple of 3rd down drops and passes deflected at the LOS, pass rushers getting into the backfield quickly … mistakes all the way around. Dak gets a share of blame, as a QB should, but it's not all on Dak.

Once again, incorrect. Bengals were a fine D team w/ AJ Green and Gresham on O and a good OL. Picking out a year at random, the Bengal's D was 6th in 2012.

You're wrong about the Bengals, both O and D. I'm inclined to agree w/ you on Dak(Haven't come to a final decision yet), but you are making yourself look silly w/ this line of thought.

0-4 on 3rd and 4-9 yrds - that's not a good recipe for a win.

Can't just give up on 3rd down plays and throw low percentage passes.

The one to Gallop early. The one to Amari at his knees when he was not looking.

Got to get out of the pocket and make a play - and I don't mean run.
