Again, it's only one game, but now we've lost a starting linebacker, starting tight end and starting offensive tackle. So now we'll hear the ever present "next man up" mantra, right?
Problem is, the tackle was already the "next man up" so now it's the next man up to the next man up. The backup tight end was already a back up to the back up (Jarwin was the backup to Witten).
I'm trying to stay positive, but if this season was a movie quote it'd be from any of the Star Wars movies (it's in every one, check it out if you don't believe me):
"I've got a bad feeling about this".
So now I'm dealing with being out of my home due to hurricane Laura, dealing with the insurance company and dealing with tree removal companies who want $10,000 to remove 3 fallen trees from my yard.
Can't wait for 2020 to be over, not that there's any great hope that 2021 will be any better, at least as far as the Cowboys go.
Oh well, that's life....
