Do you know who depth works? Let me explain it to you, if by next year, we don't have the TE situation figured out, then it won't matter but if your solution is to trade a pick, then what pick are you willing to give up because I'm telling you right now, this is the worst possible time to try trade with them for a TE. A premium would have to be paid so what are you going to offer up? Yeah, you tell me all about it. But while you are coming up with this brilliant idea, remember that if we still had Witten, this would not be an issue right now but I'm sure you know this and were still all on board with shipping him out right?

puff...........
I have no idea what you are going on about old man.

Witten? Who is talking about Witten? You are all over the place.

Not sure if you think I am Jerry or Stephen but I don't make trades. This is a fan forum where we throw out suggestions. Of course you would have to give up something to get something.
To ask why would the Bucs give up their 3rd TE is a weird question. What team has a 3rd on the depth chart player on the untouchable list?

It's hard to follow you. Some weird stuff coming from you.

They didn’t go into the season to have 4 guys sit on their ***.

Didn’t say that.

But you have a Schultz (solid backup), Bell (strictly blocking), McKeon (development guy). They were intended to sit and help Jarwin.

Schultz isn’t ready to be a number one TE. He’s a solid complementary player. It was evident last night

and someone is just going to hand over a TE with some later rd picks? Sorry you give up late rd picks odds are you will get a TE pretty much of the level we have already. You want a difference maker TE it will cost. Only here do people come up with these trades of giving up nothing to get some quality player in real life that does not happen.

Conversely, we can get a 2nd round pick by trading away a guy who "sucks" and is "trash" because other teams apparently like that sort of thing.

Hey Ben Watson is still available‍♂️‍♂️ He is 39 years old though but he can fill that hole for a season

What would it take to get Dallas Goedert from Philly? They are all injured and going nowhere this year.

Delanie Walker or Charles Clay, which one do you like?

Clay is 31 years old and became obsolete in Kingsbury's offense. Walker is 36 and coming off (another) injury.

Clay would be my choice but he's was never been the thinnest TE. Could have spent the last few months on the couch eating Cheetos.

I guess some guys after 3-4 years in the league aren’t ready to make simple catches yet lol
perhaps, but that play would have put us inside the 5 and probably a TD putting us ahead 24-20. I understand you don't know what would happen rest of the game, but like you said you have to cash in on opportunities in critical times

Sorry, but Jason Witten, at this point in his career, is not what the Cowboys need. Which is one of the reasons they left Jason sign with the Raiders. Jarwin's ability to stretch the field, down the seams, is the reason he was named the starter. Witten no longer has that ability.

This, Witten is not what is needed. You need someone like J. Cook and that is not JW at his present rate.
