It seems a lot of people are overreacting about this loss (guilty as charged). Though I can see where people are coming from, it’s literally only week one. You have to look at the circumstances. For one, we had no preseason. Everyone and I mean everyone has looked rusty to a degree. Cowboys being Cowboys, of course they look rustier than average. We almost never start the season looking good with the exception of last year (that was against the Giants tho...). In addition to that, we had a very strange offseason. I’m sure we all know why it’s been strange, but nonetheless, I’m sure this has caused some strength and conditioning trouble for certain players (Collins for example).

Long story short, what will your reaction be if Dallas blows out the Falcons, say 45-14? Will you overreact like we did with this loss and say we’re going to the Super Bowl? Will you call it a fluke and proceed to believe this team is a fraudulent team in a bad division?

i have zero confidence in Nolan and Moore, the had an entire off season to prepare for the Rams and it looked like they had never seen a Sean mckvay game on film. This coaching staff will let us down again, wouldnt be shocked if we start 0-3.

Seattle blew them out - game wasn't nearly as close as the final score - but the level of efficiency I saw last night won't produce a blowout. Probably a similar type game, decided late.

Win/lose won't change my opinion of this team. I wasn't buying the Super Bowl talk before and I'm certainly not buying it now.

this is exactly why I’m not tripping over a week 1 loss. Its a long season and the cream will rise to the top by the end of it all.

Such things are why I'm trying not to be too pessimistic about the Rams loss. They didn't play a good game, but so was the case for other teams that I think are going to be good this year (SF, TB, etc.). It was Game 1, 15 more to go. And I know people like to ignore the team that beats Dallas, but Rams are a good team, and have the best defender in the league.

I think Cowboys beat Falcons. Maybe not a blowout, but satisfying enough.

Now if they come out and don't look like they've learned anything from Week 1? Then it's panic time. 0-2 and going to Seattle? No thanks.

I think the Falcons are a completely different team.

McVay always outsmarts Dallas. Last year aside, he's always had our number. I hope I'm right and it's just that and very little else more.

That his QB can have such an easy day doing nothing except executing his simple screens and dumpoffs and still vastly outplay us, well.... I refer to the 2018 Playoff game. Same thing there.

I expect them to win. Atlanta really isnt a good team.

Could be a blowout, because sometimes teams follow up games like last night motivated.

If it is a blowout, Ill try to keep my enthusiasm tempered. At this point in the season, you really dont know a whole lot about a team

I will be relieved that we beat an offensive juggernaut. I just don't want to go to Seattle 0-2

I’m really doing my best to take this thing one game at a time.

I also expect growing pains. Almost completely new coaching staff. Shortened TC. No pre season. Honesty, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect growing pains and for it to take a while to get things going.
