Yes, the Garrett effect. It is a process understood by no one. Just need to stack good yard on top of good yard and pretty soon you have 6 yards.
It's true. You can't get 6 yards unless you also had 5 yards.

Do you think...maybe...there could be another reason BESIDES MM being "clueless"? Imma just askin.....maybe need to think it through.

I kind of thought it might be Dak and he can't execute screens. But he can. I have seen Dak do it. Same with Romo too. Garrett hardly ever called screens for either Romo or Dak. Now McCArthy is doing the same thing. I just don't get it.

I think we tried to run 2 screens. They both got blown up.

Giants are a draft and some FA signings away from being a real problem.

Andrew Thomas is supposed to be a good one at LT and everyone loved Will Hernandez coming out a few years ago at LG. Their right side of the line is trash and they don’t have a #1 WR.

We’ll see how Jones develops. Seems like if he gets time he can make some nice throws. Right now he’s rattled by pressure which isn’t good when your right side of the OL is worse than Dallas or Philadelphia.

giants ol are going to get abused by wash and Phil DL.

I think Thomas is legit and he has looked good tonite.

it is the ny interior ol that is their big issue. Esp at center. Gates is an OT playing his first game there tonite. Zietler is overrated. And Hernandez has disappointed.

we may still be.
and the rams may win the west.
i'd rather be us than the giants.

I guess.
But what I really want is a SB win.

by that metric, they are in the same place. And nyg night very well be better positioned going forward.

Lol, and what’s your point? are you telling me Andrews?, Peart? and the dude from Oregon means they have a good O line?

We used top picks on LVE, Jaylon Smith, Randy Gregory, Taco Charlton...the list goes on. They also used a first round pick on Erick Flowers and the second overall pick on a running back.

I’m sorry, what was your point?

Lighten up, Francis. Directed more to the people (not yourself) who think one just has to draft players and the problem is solved. Actually, maybe just laughing at the Giants spending so much capital on the OL and getting no results. Actually, I have no idea what my point is. Like some rock lyrics which make no sense but work.

Well everybody loss except for Washington. Which is better than the Eagles winning since the 2 had to play each other yesterday. So things worked out as well as they could have with the Cowboys losing. 2 other teams did in the division as well.

and how was Emmits line compared to Barry’s? How was Emmits supporting cast compared to Barry’s? Who would have been the better RB under the same circumstances?

It’s ok, you can say it.

I’m from Detroit. I’ve heard this nonsense forever. The answer is I don’t know. We do know that Barry never followed his blockers. So who knows, no guarantee that he would have fit inside this offense.

But I will say, that they say the same things about other Cowboys greats. Aikman wouldn’t have won without Emmitt. Michael Irvin was nothing without Aikman, Etc.

It gets old saying that Emmitt wasn’t great. The guy was great at all levels, high school, college and NFL. He gets zero respect.

NY media are in for a treat with Garrett. NYG leading rusher is Danny Dimes with 22 yards. He tripled the yardage of the two RBs combined, Barkley with 6 and Lewis with 1.

I can't say that Numbnuts Garrett ever accomplished that here in 10 years and he already did it in on his first day on the job in NY.
Who knew that Garrett still had a few tricks up his sleeve that he never used in his 10 years in Dallas. Garrett was holding out on us!

Yeah, how did Byron Jones do yesterday? I know the Dolphins lost. Box score says 1 tackle and 2 assists. Surprise, surprise, no interceptions.
I honestly didn’t see but I saw his pff grade wasn’t very good. It was consistently good here.
