Kellen may be in over his head. In other words, he's the RKG when it comes to this organization.

Retaining Moore was the poison pill for this coaching staff. I’m not sure why they thought keeping him was going to work.

Kellen Moore needs to be more creative on offense. We have so much talent on that side of the ball but give the defense the same look all game. No motion, no 2 rb sets, no 4 wr sets. Everyone just lines up, and that gets easy to defend and nullifies some of said talent.
Keelen Moore offense is fine. I just don't think he has any feel for 1 play setting up another. Everything is just a play on it's own. He uses Zeke but then what it amounts to is just a 4-5 yard play and the next play will be something that does not compliment it or feed off it. When you look at strong running games like San Fran, Tenn and Baltimore, they know how to use one play to set up another. Moore does not do that at all.

You tie the game halfway through the fourth quarter every time. It was an awful call.

If it was 4th and goal from the one..I get it but 4th and 3 from inside the 10 isn’t a high percentage play to begin with.

The positives from that would’ve been to score a TD obviously but the Rams still would’ve had time to counter.

The negatives were either hoping to get the ball back again or risk going down by 2 scores.

Negatives far outweigh the positives for me.

Its not even debatable, you kick the FG and tie the game. With the way the Rams were running the football they may not even have gotten the ball back. Dumb dumb call.

It was a great call. Execution of the play which I put that on Kellen because he easily could have had Amari run that same play.

Amari wouldn't have gotten it either. That was just a great play by the Rams S (and probably a not great play by Schultz who could have ran his route a bit deeper).

What about running a crossIng route after you pass the first down marker.

I’d like to see it designed or ran that way.
Can you imagine what John Madden would've said about that!!!??? "Why the %^&*() Do you need 3 yards and run a 2 yard route!!!!!!!!!!"

This overhyped doofus is probably closer to the least innovative mind in the league than the most.

Amari would have stacked the DB for sure knowing that he was trailing and likely went to line to gain knowing the situation. I could be wrong about Amari but IMO you do not put a rookie in that situation with the game on the line.

The Y (Schultz) should have pushed father up, allowing Lamb less coverage on the drag route. It was a good play, just executed poorly.

Bingo!!! I heard some numbnut media talking head yesterday repeat the “field goals don’t win games” crap. How did the Rams win? By kicking 2 field goals to the Cowboys’ one!

But the possibility the play won’t be executed as it should be has to be taken into account. It’s part of the risk/reward decision. In this case, I don’t think you really gain that much more by going for it and getting the 1st down. But by not taking the field goal, you’ve given momentum back to the Rams and put yourself in the position of potentially being 2 scores down with less than 1/2 a quarter to play.

His offense looked better than ours. Jones and the passing game were creative. Had their offensive line not been awful and a terrible pick by Jones they were in that game late.

LOL. So now Garrett gets an excuse for his loss but you want to deride Moore over a 3 point loss?

You guys are something, man. It really is unreal. Give it more than one 3 point loss to a good team when Dallas has a brand new coaching staff. Lets see how they adjust before we start the doom and gloom and firing everyone.

What?

Just simply stating his offense was aggressive and ours seemed to lack that aggression. That is not a typical Garrett offense. They played up to the competition where we seemed to let the opposing team dictate what we did.

Moore should be fired. The offense is the same bland 1990's out of date garbage.

I just feel like you're saying his offense looked better when they lost by significantly more than Dallas did, and our fans are deriding our offense for a 3 point opening loss with a new staff. Had the offense performed like NY I think it would be even worse. This whole thread is one giant overreaction.

The Cowboys do it all the time with read option stuff, it's a staple of the offense.

They just don't run it right 3 times so the next time they can burn a team to the left.

My bad.

Just simply meant they seemed way more aggressive like we should be!
