sorry but Dak doesn't have nearly the arm or leg talent that Cam has but Dak is a better leader though.

I think dak is a better passer than cam and not as good an athlete. I’d love to see some rams like creativity as mentioned above.

First off, I realize Prescott is not the runner Cam Newton is but Josh McDaniels really pulled one on MIA with his play calling to Newton's strength and not letting MIA get to his weakness. And we can debate the accuracy of the two QB's in another thread, this is about using their legs. And NE is going to be a tough team to defend.

The Cowboys need to play some ball control against ATL and unlike NE, they have real strength at the skill positions to create the opportunities.

I don't care what kind of offense a team runs, the absolute hardest to defend is the one with a mobile QB. Hell, we've seen the proof of that facing those teams for years.

This is not about debating Prescott but as far as a drop back pocket passer, he is not top 10 in my book but add the legs and he becomes top 10 QB and adds one more threat to the offense.

So, the downside is what? Risk getting the QB injured? Who cares? He's on a one year deal and the Cowboys have the best back up situation they've had in years, although he is not a mobile QB.

The Cowboys have to win this game. They're banged up and they need this game to establish some confidence because if they lose this game, that old devil "Doubt" is going to show up and they're headed to SEA the following week.

They're playing as stationary a QB as there is in the league on Sunday and if this pass rush is what it's been sold as, they should make it uncomfortable back there. This is a team the Cowboys have to beat and yes, it is CC's first "Must Win" game of 2020! You knew it was coming and admit it, you look forward to getting on poor li'l ole me and his Must Wins and I enjoy serving it up to you.

But seriously, there is no holding back on this one. Use all of the skill and talent of this QB because as a passer he's not Ryan's equal but as a QB, he can be his superior. And this team needs that this Sunday.

Agree wholeheartedly.

Especially as he's currently a one year rental so if he gets injured we can just move on. Crudely put yet true.

It's a win win situation - let's make best use of his strengths.

forst off nice thought but two issues, Cams a better runner anyway, he likes to run, its big part of his game, Dak has the ability but really doesn't want to run as much as he did in college..

secondly KM and Mm do not run this offense and with a Josh Mcdaniels or Roman etc over in Baltimore, that not happening..

lastly the first two post s lead to this , would Dak be great running an offense like Cam and lamar run? im not sure, i say no but we need more RPOS and movement, just better disguised formations and movement pre snap..

that will change as Mm will be having some advice for old KM

Dak isn't a great passer nor is he a great runner but he has enough talent at both to be a dangerous quarterback, like any good recipe it's all in the mix.

Oh, so now Cam Newton is a good QB? I was hearing about how much he sucked in comparison to Dak..

Newtons performance is being overrated bigtime right now.

I just don't want Dak stuck in the pocket playing football like he is Troy Aikman.

That scheme is the same trash i've seen around here. There is no point of hiring McCarthy and letting the offense maintain it's status quo trash schemes.

I was really hoping McCarthy or Kellen Moore would have a impact like some of these top tier coordinators and coaches but it looks like they are taking the our guys are better than your guys approach again.

Dak rushes 3 times for 30 yards. Those numbers were right there with last year, if not more when Dak was supposedly the best thing since sliced bread. On those three runs he had two first downs, meaning he chose his spots more efficiently, such as when the play breaks down. He simply is what he is..

Agree. Mix it up with plenty of running Cam/Josh Allen style

Dak Prescott needs to be turned into Warren Moon.

Get rid of Zeke and get a back like the Chiefs just got in Clyde Halliare. Team him with Pollard. Spread/hurry up offense.

Takes Zeke's salary and put it on defense.

Roy, this is about playing the Falcons on Sunday. It's Wednesday, I don't think they have time to get all of that done. And where do we get a fairy princess to turn Prescott into Moon on such short notice?

Matt Ryan and Dak had pretty similar stats last year with Dak edging him a little in most categories. Except completion % which is my main gripe about Dak. He is an inconsistent passer and often has inaccurate passes. Placing the ball in bad locations for his receivers. It's been a problem for him since college and it has never gone away.

Now look at 2018 stats, Matt Ryan blows Dak away that year not even close.

Matt's been doing it longer and has better career stats anyways. I give him a break for a mediocre season last year which happens to out him in the same area as Dak on his best year. Lol.

I totally agree with th OP. Dak is a career 10-15 QB unless they balance him more as a RPO QB. That is our best chance at a SB.

Not salvageable!
Not even this guy can save Dak and us in turn from his ineptness!
