Why why don't they call Leary right now, put him at left guard, and move Williams to right tackle?

What do you mean? This is a dream for you. Dak is going to get killed out there and you can blame it all on him. :oldcouple:

You will be dancing in the streets.

should have been a rebuild in the offseason. IT was the perfect time. Now they saddled the organization with a retread head coach who seemingly conceded to Jerry on Moore immediately, have a lousy defensive coordinator who has not really produced positive results in years.

Then they went and paid Cooper which was insane, signed a couple of old defensive players and are about to destroy the cap paying the quarterback who after 3 years starting in the sec and now his 5th year starting in the nfl essentially plays exactly the same.

They blew it. They had an opportunity while the chips were down and contracts were up at the end of last season to step back a bit....hire a good young coach and put together something new. Matt Rhule was perfect, not that he would coach for the Jones family I imagine.

now they are teetering on the Dave Campo years. Lose sunday and then at seattle and this thing is in big trouble. Especially after seeing how well cleveland's offense can play at times. I imagine the browns are coming in here 2-1 in two weeks. Lose that game and this organization is at a low they have not experienced since the hopeless campo years.

anyway from April to August the organization pumped sunshine about how talented they are because of the wr group. Now they have to actually play football and it looks pretty bleak.

speaking of Talent, Atlanta has ten number ones on offense and five number ones on defense. Seems they are the more talented team.

Some of us went through the “hopeless Garrett years” which were worse than the Campo years because Campo had no talent and Garrett continued to waste HOF level talent for 10 years

You might have missed those “hopeless years”

WE aren't winning this week. Only chance we have is if Tyron plays and is close to a full go. ALSO...if the Defense plays just crazy good.

McCarthy had more than 3 weeks to learn the team that year. BIG difference this year. This isn’t Madden where you scheme your way with 70 OVR players
Right- this isn’t Madden. It’s the NFL, where having injuries are as much a part of the game as anything else. The teams that can coach up their backups until starters return are usually the contenders.

how about If TS doesnt play and we lose then gripe

The pre-griping pull the parachute while still standing on the ground bs gets very very OLD!

when this team fails after 16 games we will end up going over all the same bs as of now.....

can it wait , lets see how the actual FULL season goes before its a an actual failure we can discus..

this has been by far the worst reaction to one loss ive ever witnessed , its now all been covered..seasons over lmao:banghead::facepalm:

and to that end, I thought Terence Steele actually played pretty decent last week at RT filling in.Coaches all love him.If he keeps getting better Collins might watch out. When he's healthy he could be trade bait. Coming in out of shape is not a good way to win over your team and new coaches. Bad look. This Steele kid has a chance.

We wont win a game if Smith doesn't play.
yep, agree. THAT IS THE COLD TRUTH. We are not built to withstand this. MM just got here and has had little time to really evaluate and put his stamp on the team. Year two at this point is what I wanna see. This year may be a wash.

Not sure it has much to do with MM at this point. Bellicheck and Brady couldnt overcome a bad Oline last year. They had the #1 defense to help them. Our defense is bad.

The window on the 2nd "Great Wall" is closing rapidly! Tyron is breaking down. Fred Beard has retired. Zach Martin has been dinged the last couple of seasons. Collins is injured but will be back, and Dallas doesn't know what they have in Connor Williams yet. Looney is JAG.

Striking while the iron is hot is imperative in the NFL.

the falcons been hearing all offseason how Dallas has the best wr's in the NFL. You can bet that group wants to prove that flat wrong. They have a great group. Justin Gage,Julio Jones, Ridley and others. This will either be a track meet or we get blown out early. They also have Todd Gurley so we have to have everything go perfect to win. We are limping into this game against a high powered team.

yep, really bad. Losing McCoy hurt terribly, but then again, did we really thing an older player was gonna be the savior? That was foolish to begin with. Bargain basement crap by Stevie. Start Gallimore at this point. We drafted him fairly high, so lets see what he can do in game. We are out of options.

I saw Terrance Steele play for Texas Tech 3-4 times in person. He started from his freshman year on, and despite being underrated out of college, he’s actually pretty athletic. But he’s also a little raw, and has a ways to go yet to be NFL starter quality. But he has a lot of upside to grow with.

McCarthy will have to pull off the coaching job of his life with the way this team is looking to even get to 8-8....

I saw him too. Experience counts.....he did get abused by Anae at the Senior Bowl, but held up the other night. Broaddus said that he just needs to gain strength.
