they dont beat good teams with Dak. At some point the excuses as to why need to stop. I don't see Dallas extending his contract after season. Everyone has knows how they feel about Dak so your not changing one person view. Let it playout. Its championship game or bye bye for Dak.

Actually they do.

LOL...…...so if we don't get to the championship game they are cutting Dak? And then you woke up. :muttley::muttley:

My successes are that of a father, a husband, a brother, a son, a friend, and a veteran.......
Oh, okay. Sounds like Dak will lap you 10,000 times over when it’s all said and done.

Maybe that’s why you hate him?

You should look into that. Complexes can be tricky.

Sorry but most agree the OPI was a legitimate call so you can't use that to somehow excuse Dak's performance when comparing the 1st Half to the 2nd Half.

Dak 1st Half

15 for 18 83.3% Comp % 187 Yards 1 TD

Dak 2nd Half

10 for 21 47.6% Comp % 79 Yards
Not defending Dak but who exactly has agreed the OPI was legitimate apart from a certain poster here who always agrees with the refs and Ramsey?

Blame the team (1-Players 2-coaches)
--and that includes Dak.

So according to you, Brees was still a good QB in those years... thus confirming that you know that judging a QB solely on wins/losses is a dumb thing to do.

Thanks for confirming! Kills your anti-Dak argumemt. Destroys it.
No what i’m saying was Brees already proved himself as an Elite franchise QB who could lead his team to the playoffs on a regular basis and who had won a SB, thus earning him some slack in those rebuilding years. Dak has not come close to anything like that and the trend this team is on with him as our QB is going in the wrong direction. When Dak does anything close to what Brees has done, he too will have earned a pass for some mediocre seasons. I got news for you though, Dak Prescott is no Drew Brees

Hey it’s easy to pass blame around but with under a minute to go DP dropped a perfectly thrown pass to Gallup and a bs call killed the game. We would have a least kick a FG but more likely would have scored 7 to win.
I am sorry, Game winning passes (plural) should've been thrown correctly the offense prior to the last one, when Cowboys were in the red zone and Dakota threw a pass to Amari Copper's knee on a 3rd and short.... darn! now not even the dink and dunk works!
And as for "at least kick a FG" ... yeah, also on the previous offense, but instead Dakota and Lamar fell 1 yd short on a 4&3 play
The game was lost way before the OPI call. We put ourselves in a position where if Gallup fully extends the arm and makes contact with the defensive player, the Corner sells it and the Ref buys it... it;s OPI and pretty much game over, but to some Dak fans that's hard to see.

If “Dak is no Drew Brees”, then that makes my point even stronger.

The point that it’s dumb to judge a QB based solely on W/L record, because if you did that, you’d have to say Brees sucked from 2014-16.

You’re just too dense to understand that.

Psst... NFL players, coaches and front office personnel were all polled this offseason... and all of them ranked Dak as a top 10 QB.

I know it hurts.

“DURRRR BUT I KNOW BETTER THAN THEY DO!!”

So you cite 2 people who agree with you, and that means “most” agree with you?

I could name a half dozen other ex-players and coaches who disagree, plus the former ref-turned-analyst who worked for NBC during the game itself.

The OPI not being Dak’s fault means Dak still gets credit for a tremendous throw in the clutch. I’m sorry that doesn’t fit your narrative, just like the fact that our pass protection was awful doesn’t fit your narrative.

Psst... Dak still nearly overcame this and led his team to a win anyways. Ranked 5th-best QB by PFF and 9th-best by ESPN’s Total QBR. You can keep incorrectly blaming him until you’re blue in the face if it makes you feel better.

I just wanted to add some insight to the pressures stat. It's already been proven in previous seasons that Dak has a problem holding onto the ball too long or forcing himself into pressures/sacks by not utilizing an open field, a lane, or moving up in the pocket, whichever the case may be. That stat you provided doesn't take into account what Dak may have done to worsen the situation. Are there tells that Dak misses that contributes to high pressures? I saw many times Dak just standing still instead of using decisive feet to maneuver the pocket. What about quick throws? The list can go on and on. High pressure stat doesn't mean it was only on the offensive line.

That is how Romo played and how he took a freaking beating...punctured lung and still wanting to come win the game. That's the drive we need at QB.

I don’t know how they come up with the stat, sounds like you don’t either.

If the QB stands around waiting for the pressure, maybe they don’t count that? I’m not sure.
