But yet many on this forum were convinced we weren’t having more success cause of Garrett. No one really knows.

LOL...…….its week 1 are you stupid? I guess you forgot that you gave Garrett 10 years?

You obviously haven’t read the article yet. Which is only commenting on the results after Week 1. Is not a summation of the unknowns yet. There’s still ample time for Mikey to save the Cowboys from Jethro. Lol

Its just that many players on this team suck.
Why wasn’t that preached last year as we stumbled to 8-8 ? Mostly what we heard is the team was underachieving because of our coaching.

So now we are heralded to have better coaching and are touting our weaknesses in talent. Sounds fishy to me. Just saying..,

It was preached. Actually you in particular preached it all the time. Wasnt that the #1 reason why your hero Garrett didnt do better?

Read the injury report lately troll?

Defense was bad last year as was special teams. In fact, it was talked about all season long.

Are you just too dumb to remember these things? :muttley::muttley::muttley:

And yah, the coaching sucked too. Do you wish Garrett was still here?:lmao::lmao2::lmao2:
I certainly don’t recall the bulk of this forum stating our 8-8 season was a result of our lack of talent or weaknesses . Most complained our disappointing season to coaching.

No. As I have stated it was time for a coaching change. I said in November the atmosphere was too toxic for Garrett to remain. I would have let him go after the Patriot game .

But my defense of Garrett wasn’t all based on his coaching ability which he was obviously flawed.

You just have a bad memory or selective. People complain constantly about the defense, coaching, special teams last year, Dak, you name it.

Garrett had a relatively injury free squad last year and bumbled his way to 8-8. That team should have easily made the playoffs in a weak division.

This year MM had 3 weeks to prepare his team and has been decimated by injuries.

McCoy, Colilns, Frederick, Lee, LVE, Jarwin,

All those guys are front line starters. What did Garrett have to deal with last year? LVE missed 8 games?

Still trying to defend your hero?

Here’s the link attached with the quote I provided earlier . It was deleted since I didn’t place in same post. My mistake.

“Despite Dallas’ disappointing season, the team is intent on keeping Moore. Jerry Jones made it a point during the Cowboys’ HC interviews to express his desire for Jason Garrett‘s eventual successor to retain Moore. And McCarthy is a fan of the one-year coordinator. One year remains on Moore’s contract. “

Go look at the injury report again troll. You missed a bunch of guys.
No, he was the only starter on offense out. Our TE went down earlier but our TE are basically a wasted position this year. The other OL injury was a backup.

Despite LVE going down our defense still held Rams to 20 points. Not bad . Which should have been enough for our highly touted offense to overcome

No, as the article stated this 17 point production looked much like 2019 in which we averaged 17 points a game in all 8 losses. And Dak after leading the league his first 3 years in 4th qtr comebacks failed again after all 8 games last year failing to do so.

More and more reminders of 1st week in 2020 looking much like 2019. Injuries are just an excuse.

LOL...…..talent refers to all talent. Offense, defense, special teams.

But the offense alone has lost Collins, Frederick, and now Jarwin.

Poor guy, you really do miss Garrett. Do you wish he was still here?:lmao2::lmao:

I was thinking that maybe the problem is not the coaching, but the players. Maybe the blame should be on the FO?
Well problem is the whole team including coaches.
1 game isnt enough, I want to see how they do the next 2 games.

But that said they looked real bad the first game , and it was how they looked overall, not just that they lost.
Then play calling, game plan , play book and MM not tying the game all stunk, and were a bit of a shock.

now players dropping like flies lol

But quite an achievement for our Savior Mikey to suk as much. Lol

MM isn't my savior. I have no attachment to coaches.

But it would be quite the achievement for someone to suck as bad as Garrett did. Nice to know we wont have to hear you applaud ineptitude anymore.

No coach should ever be given a free pass. They either get the job done or they don't.
