Difference was the clutch gene. Dak looked like a slightly better version of Tony Romo.

he needs to filter out the noise and get back to his early years of play when he wasn’t worrying about too much

I agree. He's thinking too much. Too worried about making a mistake, or an interception, or Donald. Just pull the trigger, like Favre. If intercepted, then intercepted.

He needs to figure out a way to get out of this losing streak. This current "thinking too much, trying to prevent an interception" playing style is obviously not working since the Buffalo game. He didn't do anything that looked awful vs the Rams, but there were some low percentage 3rd down plays he could've made but he pulled them down instead. They were low percentage though, and far from a guarantee.

The difference looked much larger on the field. Very similar to the playoff game a couple years ago.

Much of that is fan emotion.

What actually happened is always different that my initial feeling of what happened.

I don't have the fan emotion when reviewing game footage that I had when watching in real time.

I am but i will not pass up a true real breakdown of game and be critical of the team but wont be jumping off ledges and declaring the season a failure nor a success this early in the season, we will know by game 10-11 how this thing will really develop, good or bad..

I understand Game debates, breaking downs he good and yes the bad but man i believe we set record for negative posts and season and new staff a total loos after one 3 point loss on the road Game ONE!..crazy

Chicago Cubs fans are true fans. They had a 108 year stretch without even going to a World Series.

Modern generation Cowboys fans and many older ones think they are entitled to winning and that the team "owes" them something.

Goff > Dak... difference. One QB got it done when he had to, the other choked away a perfect situation at the end of the game with plenty of time on the clock.

The bad news is that we gave up 422 yards of total offense to the Rams.

That's where our defense needs to ramp it up for our upcoming contests.

Defensive missed tackles & our 3rd down failings on offense doomed us.

Hopefully, backup replacements on both side of the ball can be provided.

Pretty poor choice of stats unless you play fantasy

It's more about situational football and game management

3rd down efficiency:
Rams 9-17
Cowboys 3-12

Yards per pass
Rams 8.4
Cowboys 5.8

Time of possession
Rams 35:38
Cowboys 24:22

We have to ask...what makes him not pull that trigger. Or take off running? He knows he's getting pressured...he has to speed it up.
