I would love to pin this loss on McCarthy, and he really did a bad job today, but 3 fumbles and the defense did nothing all day. It is hard to put the blame on McCarthy. But the two fake punts, and the bad decision to go for 2 were huge. He should have gone for 2 when they got to 23 if he was going to go for 2 at all. Even if the Cowboys score here they need to do the impossible and recover an onside kick. The Falcons just had to take a knee 3 times and it is over.
