Yes..

last week he got that PI call that was wrong and should have won the game for us if it was not called..

this week he makes a huge catch late in the game on our last TD drive.

His butt comes down inside the field of play..

the catch sets up the TD for Dak to run in.

AND..

It was so close Atlanta challenged the call and the officials overturned it in our favor. This cost Atlanta their last time out as their challenge failed.

This was huge later after Zuerlein went to kick the winning FG. Atlanta had no timeouts to freeze the kicker.

So Gallup played a huge role as did many others.

But no more talk about trading Gallup. He stays.

You're overrating the significance of using a timeout to freeze a veteran kicker.
Gallup played well especially on that play.
I don't know who was talking about trading him.

Almost positive Gallup’s left elbow hit before his butt and right elbow. You can barely see the tape on his left elbow peek out from under his butt and touch the ground.

He was even pointing to his left elbow on the sideline. Never got the right angle to be definitive.

Well..

Have seen us lose on those second kicks going wide.

That whole last 5 minutes was a blur..

Whew...

Yeah..

Once we drafted Lamb..

talked started about keeping Amari and Lamb and what could we get for Gallup.

There was alot of posting about it when Lamb was drafted.

Where were you?

It was so close it would've gone the other way if it had originally been called OB.

I think a freeze frame would show his butt hit first

Yeah..

Close as a whisker.

I am sure the replay booth can magnify that stuff and see it.

He looked in to me.

Two weeks in a row Gallup makes a critical play. We won one and lost one.

Yikes.

I thought that too, at first, but then saw another angle where you could see his butt compressed by ground before elbow touched out. I’m sure a play that couldn’t be overturned either way from whatever refs called on field.

I have super human vision and I can tell you the left elbow and butt was down way before his right elbow.

At a microscopic level I can tell you it wasn't even close. Apologies that I can't share the visual with, but trust me.

Oh, by the way, Dez did catch it.

Cowboys catch = good catch
Any other team makes same catch = the NFL always screws us, it was a bad catch

Yeah..

I thought the original call was he was out of bounds.

I thought I saw a ref signal "out".

Then the refs started huddling and Moose says..

"They called it a good catch".

Which shocked me. I thought at first he was out.

That just turned out to be a big play.

I don’t understand the thought process of trading away good players for draft picks / projects.

This isn’t baseball.

Fill holes in your roster—-do not diminish an advantage to do it.
