One of the greatest wins in Cowboys history

I’ve been watching the Cowboys for more years than I’d like to remember. This win is no doubt one of the biggest regular season wins in team history. The Buffalo game when Romo came back from 4 or was it 5 turnovers was huge but this one is right up there. Too bad so many supposed Cowboys fans went to play golf or tiddly winks after the 1st quarter.

The Cowboys were previously 11-113 when the turnover margin was -3 or worse.

The league percentage in winning under those conditions are 8.9%.

The only win off the top of my head that was more improbable was the Romo 5 int game in Buffalo.

Comebacks make us feel good, but I love blowouts better. That butt kicking we put on the Jaguars about two years ago, comes to mind.

Roger's come back win against the Commanders in 79, as he came back 2 different times in that game. From 3 scores down, then again from 2 scores down. Has to be tops. To win the NFCE.

Unless it results in a Lombardi, it's not "one of the greatest" in Cowboys history.

I know it wasn't a huge comeback but that Romo game wasn't it first play in OT against SF on the road with a bruised rib and lung and that Bomb to Holley? that was awesome

I wouldn’t call it one of the greatest “wins“ in Cowboys history, too early in the season for that but definitely one of the greatest comebacks. We had to overcome a 19 point deficit and needed an onside kick to pull it off and converting an onside kick under the new rule isn’t very likely.
