I kinda see what the FO likes about Terence Steele

Looking forward to see how he actually did when I get a chance to watch the game. I thought he played well for around 56 minutes against the Rams. Last 4 minutes he maybe got tired, maybe got exposed in space with the DL teeing off.

Glad he is a Cowboy. Hard to believe he went undrafted. Pretty sure he would get drafted if there were a redraft today.
It will be interesting to see what happens to Steele and if he moves inside at guard when Collins comes back as the RT.
Nice for the Cowboys to have options.

I think I saw what the Cowboys front office likes about this guy. He is really raw and needs to learn a lot, but he has some power and size. He moves guys off the ball in the running game.

Maybe he should move inside when Collins comes back.
I was too critical of him initially. But, undrafted free agent to starting at RT while not looking like Chaz Green is huge.

He improved as the game progressed. Was better than last week. Still no where near as good as Collins.

Collins really disappoints me. I'm not sure of his circumstances, so maybe this critique is unfair....but for him to come to camp out of shape was really a crappy thing to do to his team.

Both tackles held up well, especially considering who they are lol...

Promising guys for sure, should only get better. Could have our swing tackle of the future?

Maybe a blessing in disguise that Erving got hurt.

With the dearth of Oline play in the league he was a FA for a reason. Would be great if he could be developed.
really because i seem to remember our OL in the 90s was built with a bunch of misfits and rejects some dais had no lace in the NFl when they were organizing it..heck the old regime told Jimmy onthe way out tht nate was fat out of shape and would not make the team..hmmm

sometimes it takes time or the right situation for player to develop. This Zone said Hill was bust after one season, hes starting to figure it out.. smh some fans need to trust coaches.. Shultz was better then he was being ripped all week. Steel played better , Knight held his own.. the game the season was over not having our 2 OT this board pregame was stating it was over..hmmm

good thing none of us run or coach teams..

I think the talk has been that he is injured. Don't remember the problem.

Don't want to see a guy get injured, but I was glad he was taken out of the rotation. Didn't like the signing. He's never been anything but putrid in the league over a long career. I'd much rather play Knight as our swing T.

It’s actually shocking to put a backup tackle on the field — much less two! — who is not a complete turnstile at the position.

Joe Thomas and Dalton Schultz are two other backups who played well as well. Again, it’s pleasant to see the entire ship not sink when some backups are called on.

i wonder if last years coaching staff could get these backup players ready to perform the way they did today?

Steele looks like he can develop into a player

he has issues that need ironing out i think he had 3 penalties and that a big NO for any player

Very impressive to go from UDFA (with next to no off-season) to RT week 1 and then LT week 2 in a 40 burger outing.
