No. We were 15 down, that wasn't dumb at all.Nearly as dumb as going for 2 by us when we did
And the morons who were just staring at the ball as the ball made it ten yards should be cut.
If you kick the extra point you are one procession downNo. We were 15 down, that wasn't dumb at all.
You had to go for 2 at some point. This way, we knew we had to get an onside kick. Just don't believe it was a bad decision at all.If you kick the extra point you are one procession down
By going for two you left yourself 2 processions down
That's what I thought happened. The Falcons didn't think it would go 5 yards, so they just left it alone rather than muff it with the spin it had. They should've jumped on it once it got 8 or 9 yards, but I guess they were playing too safe.It was a crazy kick, and I didn't think it had a chance of making it 10 yards, but how does nobody from ATL jump on it when it starts getting close? It was such a freak play, and I loved it!
Agreed. Had they waited until the 2nd TD to go for 2, they probably would've played for OT. This way, they knew they had to get a 2nd TD quickly to try the onside kick. You had to go for 2 at some point. This way, we knew we had to get an onside kick. Just don't believe it was a bad decision at all.
How did nobody on the Falcon hands team not know they could touch the ball????
Wow. Thanks!
A lot of people are leaving that out. It didn't look like it would go 10 yards so the Falcons were afraid to touch it and make it possible for the Cowboys to recover. The problem is if you grab that ball before 10 yards and don’t corral it, it’s a live ball.

Idk, but I think the special teams coach should be fired for that play alone lol
