Can we talk about Ezekiel Elliott?

The 2016 Zeke ain’t coming back fellas.

Zeke is a power back that does his best work between the tackles.

Why on earth we keep trying to run Zeke on sweeps is beyond me. He doesn’t have the foot speed to turn the corner. He ain’t that guy anymore; let the man run north and south. Soften the belly of the defense; work off play-action; use your receivers.

I seem to recall him picking up several first downs to the outside today.

These past two weeks, he has run with power. Speed. Agility. Determination. He has plowed through defenders like a tank.

Props to the guy. Feed him.

i don't see the speed that you're talking about ... i'm still seeing him more as a very powerful bell cow runner.
He's just not a breakaway runner anymore.

But he has a such a big knack for the goal line run, and his low center gravity and incredible leg power always seem to turn out goal line TD.
So very difficult to coral and halt at the one or two yard line.

While you cringed when looking at likely season ending Saquon Barkley , and now hes' been devastated 2 years in a row by horrific injuries, durability
has been a huge ongoing key with Zeke. He's been a sheer iron man.

Vs the Rams, Zeke was the best Cowboys player on the field.

This week was more of a mixed bag, as he fumbled more in the 1st quarter than some backs do in a year and blew a blitz pickup that got Dak killed. He was awful, but the entire team was awful. After they settled in, he looked like his normal self. From the 2nd quarter on, I actually think he played a lot better than his stats indicate, as he was ran in a lot of YPC-killing power situations and played behind probably the weakest OL of his career.

No it doesn’t. The offense runs through Zeke mindset is why Dallas got down in the first place. Let Dak cook. As soon as they put the game in Dak’s hand cowboys started winning

You have no clue what Zeke does for this passing offense and I laugh.

Ezekiel is and has been a very productive RB for some time now. He's become a proficient passing threat of late, which only serves to add to his offensive value. He has stepped up his productivity from last year, by all appearances. There's nothing missing in his contributions for one who has undergone the rigors of the seasons he has served his team. I'm sure he'll be counted upon to keep this Cowboys offense producing at an acceptable level of success. Let's not allow overly critical doubters to tarnish his image. He'll be as fine as wine in the summertime. Count on it. ;)

I am bigger than zeke (not stronger or anything else for that matter) but I wouldn't want to be IN front of him coming at me at any speed, even his burst or thrust forward action are damaging to people.

I would stonewall Zeke for no gain.

Unless he cheats and comes at me head first.

I'll say one thing though, it's been fashionable to say that Saquon Barkley is a better back. That's an insult to Zeke.

Give me true workhorses you can count on like Zeke and Wentz over fragile players like Barkley and Prescott.

Really.....seems like the playbook doesn't have any innovation to get Gallup involved earlier. Too many weapons to be 3rd & outs. Dak the hero in this game now?

He looks similar to his rookie year. Hopefully the long runs and TDs will show up as well.

Definitely !! He is balling. Just watched the replay of him. Guy was trucking everyone. He doesn’t go down. Once we can start playing with a lead this guy is definitely gonna eat
