Nice games for both:

Hill was very disruptive much of the afternoon. A tick late on Ridley's 1st TD. Bust label came too soon. Also, body language has done a complete 180 on sidelines:

After the last fake punt failure was a camera shot and in the background he immediately helmeted up and sprinted to get on the field.

On the onsides kick was seen very engaged as well.

And:

Schultz was the goat of the game last week, but today played really well after his fumble.

I saw glimpses in his rookie season he could be quality, and today he did work.

Funny how the only real good players on the DL are Hill and Smith, while most people were expecting a lot from McCoy, Poe, Lawrence and Griffen. I expect Gregory to be a solid contributor too since nobody expects anything from him. I also think Joe Thomas will end up being our best LB.

Two new tackles.(knight and Steele) New cb. (Trevon diggs) New lb. (Thomas) New te.(schultz) working on our dak money. Sayonara to tyron smith, crawford and sean lee will free up more money. Maybe the oft injured lve, too.

Joe Thomas is looking pretty good.

Hill's been showing up past two game. I can see why they thought highly of his quick first step. He looks stronger too.

Hope Hill continues to improve. That would be huge.

Same with Schultz.

I have more hope for Hill than Schultz. Schultz is a pretty limited guy. More like a very low budget Witten, which isn't where the game has gone.

Hill has the physical tools. Just needs work and experience, and he's getting those.

In this offense, the surprise factor Schultz can provide can almost be as useful. You have a D keyed all over Zeke + 3 excellent WR's. Oh wait "Joe TE" is wide open. Reminds of how Harbaugh used his TE's in SF to give opponents something else to worry about. The kid has good enough hands- that was a nice sail route he ran for the TD.

Schultz showed good speed on the TD, crossing the face of the safety to get in position to make the catch.
