Yes he gets credit but lets not pretend that he's doing this on a regular basis and is therefore on par with the games best.

Dak and the offense had yet another putrid start, dug themselves a big hole, and got lucky Atlanta couldn't recover an onside kick. Dak gets all credit for sticking with it and not giving up. Nobody has ever questioned the mans toughness. Next week, he'll get a better test.

I think next week is a huge test. Next week is a good team with a good defense on the road.

A lot of us aren’t hating on dak. If we are going to give him 40 mil we just want consistency. We want him to beat good defenses.. and make plays when things are stacked against him like they were today...like other elite qbs do. Today he did the later for sure.

last year he doesn’t win this game. Long season let’s hope he builds off of it
He gets credit but did he "win" it or are Atl special teams idiots that don't get the ball for some strange reason?

Yes, everyone is a hater if they don't have the same opinion as you. Zeke, Dak and most of the team had a horrible game in the first half. There were also some bad passes by dak, but you most likely will disagree. You can choose to think of me as a Hater, but there been other times when I've given Dak his props after a win and defended him after a win from others. It's people who are whose always think that someone has a good game or always think that someone has a bad game that are the real homers and haters. I say Dak is a good quarterback but certainly not top 5 like some people on here have voted him to be.

It gives me great joy to know you and the rest of your ilk (who are strangely silent) will have a bad week this week because Dallas won. Worst yet, Dak had a career day.

That's what I mean though. If you don't think he's worth top money by now then you won't ever feel that way. The bar isn't Mahomes. I know it should be but it isn't. Mahomes is in a league by himself and if you are chasing a player of that caliber you will be striking out. Mahomes don't come around often. And to be honest? Dak's don't even come around often. A late 4th round pick of his caliber? Doesn't happen.

For years Jerry has overpaid players. I think we can both agree on that. Is anyone really playing at a level they're getting paid? That's where I'm at with this. Is it their fault? No (and I think we can agree on that too). Where does it end? What has the team done that is worth the contracts they're getting? Again, is it their fault? I think it's 50/50 the quality of coaches we've had over the years and the players not playing to what they're getting paid.

As I said earlier, I think Dak is a great quarterback but his consistency has something left to be desired. Yes I can say the same for just about every big contract player on this team.

It doesn't bother me what someone who is open minded about different opinions thinks.

So does Dak get credit here? Just asking.....
In my mind this counts for Dak. I think I said earlier this week that we were 2-9 or some stat in one possession games. Well that stat is 3-9 now, or whatever the official stat is. This year we are 1-1 in one possession games. Lol, and overall. But regardless if you are pro Dak or anti Dak or pro pay Dak or no pay Dak. Without Dak Prescott we are 0-2. Dak won us his game and maybe saved our season.

Give him his due, this was a heart win and a gut check and he came up big to win.

Plus a passing TD. Of course a person shouldn’t make definitive judgements on one game, but for that poster to say this one game was not at a level worthy of a big contract is nonsense. Any team at any time would love to get the level of play at QB the Cowboys got today.

Sort of astounding. Literally playing with #4 and 5 depth chart tackles.

This is a historical performance. Few QBs in this league manage this

Right...initially they said Dak would never throw for 300 yards in a game lol.
First it was

“he can’t throw for more than 200 yds”
“Dink and Dak”
”Wins are a team stat his record doesn’t matter”
“Why is he 8-8? QBs determine wins not teams”
“He can’t make 4th quarter comebacks”

I think the last excuse they have is winning teams?

wonder what the next excuse will be when we whoop Seattle

Too be fair Andy Reid has mcnabb in NFC championship games every year.

Mahomes is amazing but not in a league of his own....yet

Absolutely not! Wins are never his doing. The Dak haters made that be known. Remember, all his stats were garbage time and it was just everyone around him making plays.

Now when he loses, 100% his fault!! All on him. Everyone else did what they could but he sucked!

Does this count for Dak?

Down 20 after one and never gave up.

No INTs.

Balled his tail off and led us to victory

As always, it's a team game, but Dak provided the leadership and the great play to lead us to victory. He was, and always has been, a never-say-die leader who's NEVER going to mail it in. Dak haters are the dumbest bunch of NFL 'fans' in football. He's a 1st tier stud and absolutely has the chops to take us to the promised land. He'll sign making $40+/mil per year and the front office will look like chumps.

P.S. Zeke was an absolute beast. No Amari catch, no win. Lamb is the real deal, Schultz played great, Gallup played well enough. Even Bell made great contributions given his situation.

Jaylon had 13 total tackles and I'm sick of hearing about his 'weak play'. Jordan was decent, and mad props to Zeurleine for being money when it mattered most.

Bottom Line: Very unusual for a team to go down by 20 and then win. We did.

Period. The End.

Last week Wilson was 31-35 355 yards and 4 PASSING touchdowns against this same Falcons porous defense

Reminds me of the overhyping after we beat the Dolphins last year.

Predictable.
Congratulations!!

How soon we forget Mr. C?
Remember last season's first 3 games when you and all your Dak-Trolls posted till you dropped about the greatness of Dak?
Atlanta defense was not only for the dog's woof woof but you see that on-side kick which reminds one of the saying .....The "Fix" was in.....
Anyway, let's enjoy the gift and concerning Dak talk to us when he meets a real defense.
