There are a lot of you. Question - Is there anything he can do to change your mind? Would a SB win do it? League MVP? NFC Championship? 40 TDs? Anything?

Is it the contract? Is it because he is not Mahomes or Wilson?

Dak haters and fans agree that Dak can be inconsistent with accuracy but I think he adds toughness, running ability and leadership.

Serious question so don’t be nasty. What, if anything, could he do to win you over?

Why do you even care what a bunch of pathetic trolls think about our great QB?

This clowns use words like bus driver and average. They don't even belong in a QB conversation.

Just laugh in their face or ignore them.

I will answer. The thing about Dak that frustrates me to no end, he is just inconsistent. Not necessarily with the ball but with his mechanics. There are games, like yesterday he balls out and you're like man we have something here. But then the next week, he gets happy feet all over again, rushes his reads and throws and makes poor decisions, leading to losses in games we should have won. Granted the D is not usually helping him out at all but he just loses focus or something and gets real lazy in his mechanics. He does bring a lot to the table, I like his size and his mobility but until he can consistently play at a high level, he is not worth the big contract he is demanding. Now if he shows up like he did yesterday, then yea pay the man. I just haven't seen enough of him being consistent in his play on a week to week basis to give him that 40 million a year contract. Maybe this will be the year he puts it all together. I hope so, because for this team to win, they need him (or any QB) to step up and make plays when needed.

Dak's "accuracy" issues are not supported statistically. Next gen stats tracks things like expected completion percentage, etc., and Dak is consistently in the top ten.

People here see every incomplete pass Dak misses. That doesn't mean he's doing it more than guys we aren't watching, but for some it fits their narrative.

People who have strong opinions either way are not going to be swayed when it comes to Dak. I like him, just don't know if I like him for $35-40 million a year.

Hmmm seems to me that like their opinion, yours is just an opinion too.
You took a realistic good question and turned it into a fan bashing occasion so what makes you any better than them?

I don't consider myself a hater, but I have to question the mentality of anyone labeling someone a hater just for openly criticising a pet player.

To answer the question I want consistency. I need to see them take care of business vs bad teams but against good teams and defenses I want Dak to not be a reason why we lost. Less taking unnecessary pressures and sacks when there's plenty of space or a lane to utilize. Less constantly throwing behind a receiver or at a DB and hoping the WR just bails him out. If we look predictable can we get some presnap adjustments?

Threads like this always happen after a W, but are dead silent after games like last week. No one is saying to be perfect, tired of people bringing that up.

We know who the contenders are, we need to look like contenders in these games and obviously put down the bad teams when we play them.

Heck Romo didn't do that.

Well, like the reception Romo got, Dak will have to make it to the super bowl before he gets credit. Hopefully he does
Not this year with this defense I am afraid though

Consistency - that's not too much to ask. It could also be said that Atlanta was so far ahead early in the game their defense slacked off. But all in all he had a good game and I'll give him kudos for that. But can he be relied on to play at that level every week? Guess we'll see.

Dak has proven everyone wrong. That seems to be what he does. His accuracy compared to two years ago is like night and day. He is a great leader and you can tell. He is getting more and more comfortable with every situation you can throw at him. Yesterday vs the falcons he LED the cowboys not just manage, he LED the Cowboys to a victory. Thats what you want to see in your franchise QB . This is his fifth season and the confidence really set in after we got Amari Cooper. Dak has "IT" and it is easy to see now. It took some time but its there . That win vs the falcons was a money game. His agent can walk into Jerry's office with th game tape and slap it down on Jerry's desk and say, "pay the man". Im proud if Dak but his work isn't done. We have the Seahawks next game. If dak wants to seal the deal ,he needs to qin this game vs a QB who has taken the same path as he has. He was drafted low, he struggled with accuracy and seeing over his o line. He took an attitude to put the franchise on his back and prove the doubters wrong and he won a SB, even though the defense was the strength of that team he had big moments. If Dak wins this match-up, he is paid and its that simple

I am not a Dak hater, but rather a guy who wants to see him win games against good teams. He needs to prove to me that he can win against good defenses. I am pulling for the guy he is a great leader and the team is behind him. Just win the big game consistently and I will be on board
