Why? "Romosexuals" are mocked and ridiculed for their obsession. "can;t you just leave him in the past".

Now we got two romohaters on the front page. But THAT is fine and dandy...get in line!
Aye man it is what it is. All I can do is tell you not to enter those threads if it offends you?

Funny people acting like we had Romo surrounded by a bunch of trash.

We had caliber talent when we had Romo too. Romo had Dez, T.O and prime Witten aka the security blanket. Romo had 2 hall of famers.
And Prime Dez was one of the best WR's in the game. Top 5.
That revisionist history is a B ain't it lol? These seem fans predicted us to win the Super Bowl those years.....now its he didn't have any talent even though Cowboys had 12 other Pro Bowlers in 2007 excluding Romo.

Far from “plays pretty well”, clown

Damn you are remedial
That's in 2019. You posting stuff from years ago lol.....then you tried to be slick and talk about "regular season" as if regular season trumps playoffs....that's why I say you slow but maybe not. Maybe you did it on purpose maybe not. Can never tell with you. I know you mad because the Cowboys won yesterday lol. You desperate this week lol...until the next loss lol. Now you praying they lose to the Seahawks.

If Dak stays healthy, he will own all the individual stats records..... just as Romo did before him.

It did not at all say Romo was better than Staubach or Aikman.

It's the era.
Every decade it gets easier and easier to play QB in the NFL. 3-4 WR sets. Defensive secondaries with their hands tied. Pass rushers not being able to clobber the QB...etc
The rules and offensive schemes helped Romo trump his predecessors, just as they will help Dak do the same.

“Thats in 2019”

He played them 3 times in his career. Was horrible in 2 of those games. One being approximately 4 months
before the game you mentioned.

How does it feel being the worst poster on this site?

Romo's career 370 Yard games (7)

2009 vs Giants (392 YDs passing, 3 TDs, 0 INTs)
2010 vs Bears (374 YDs passing, 1 TD, 2 INTs)
2010 vs Titans (406 YDs passing, 3 TDs, 3 INTs)
2012 vs Giants (437 YDs passing, 1 TD, 4 INTs)
2012 vs Commanders (441 YDs passing, 3 TDs, 2 INTs)
2012 vs Saints (416 YDs passing, 4 TDs, 0 INTs)
2013 vs Broncos (506 YDs passing, 5 TDs, 1 INT)

Total: 20 TDs, 12 INTs

Dak's career 370 Yard games (7)

2018 vs Eagles (455 YDs passing, 3 TDs, 2 INTs)
2018 vs Giants (387 YDs passing, 4 TDs, 0 INTs)
2019 vs Giants (405 YDs passing, 4 TDs, 0 INTs)
2019 vs Packers (463 YDs passing, 2 TDs, 3 INTs)
2019 vs Vikings (397 YDs passing, 3 TDs, 1 INT)
2019 vs Lions (444 YDs passing, 3 TDs, 0 INTs)
2020 vs Falcons (450 YDs passing, 1 TD, 0 INTs)

Total: 20 TDs, 6 INTs

What I'm trying to illustrate here is 2 things:

1) When you pass for 370 Yards, interceptions are more common. So given the 2 QBs respective 370 yard games, Dak has thrown far less interceptions - while with an equal number of TDs, and an equal sample size amount. So even when situations are equal (370 YDs and 7 games), Dak is less likely to give the game away.

2) At this point I prefer Romo as a Quarterback, but I think Dak will easily surpass Romo when it's all said and done. He's only 2 games into his 5th year, and he's already equaled Romo's career 370 yard games. Wait till he gets to double that sample size, or even triple it. He'll go well ahead of Romo in career achievements.

What a random number of yards? I am confused why you picked that number. Like what makes 370 yards different than 380 or 360? I get why one would pick 400 yard games, but why 370?

Not to pick a side in this fight but INTs in the NFL are WAY down over the past 15 years. If you look at Brees, and Brady, and even Manning to an extent, you can see how their INT numbers plummeted from what they used to be so its not just that the QBs are less INT prone, it is that INTs are just FAR less common due to rules and scheme changes.

Why did you exclude what he did in the playoffs? Is it because you're slow?

Because pfref shows his splits for the REG season meetings separately from his lone playoff meeting, durr durr

now explain how having more picks than tds against Seattle is playing pretty well, durr durr...

Oh so what he did against him in the playoffs don't matter? Wouldn't shock me if you walk around with a helmet on.

Crazy man. Its like all of a sudden people forget we had some highly talented teams back then.
Right. I remember everyone picking us to win our division those years with Romo. I'm not gonna sit here and say he didn't have some bad linemen at all in his career because he did around 2010 if I'm not mistaken. But his career wasn't full of that and his teams were stacked. Now if someone wants to argue he didn't have the head coach.......that's fair game.

he belittled Daks success due to Dak being surrounded by a lot of talent...
Which must mean Emmitts success isn’t that impressive either since he was surrounded by about 20 probowlers.
Oh, I see. I thought you had Emmitt playing alongside Romo. I know you know better, so I was really confused. Lol

I don’t know if you watched yesterday’s game but the Seahawks can’t stop a Mobile QB or the deep ball.

Fortunately for us Dak ranked in the top 5 for both categories of all QB’s playing right now.

if the line can hold even just a little Dallas will easily put up 30 points

INB4 Romo had no talent around him and Dak has all-pros at every position crowd.
That’s just factually not true. Romo was good but nothing to lose sight of the truth for.
Dak and Romo are very similar, Dak is less of a gambler makes less mistakes and is less dynamic than Romo was in the pocket. If Dak used his wheels like Murray or Wilson he could take us to the next level.

Romo is the most overrated Cowboy’s QB ever. His place to be rated is well below Danny White. Danny went to the NFC title game 3 times. Romo went to Cabo 3 times....

I just want a complete team that wins a ring/rings!! I’m tired of comparing current with the past no matter the position. I just don’t want to waste Dak/Zeke/WRs because we got a crap defense and also looks like we have to starry rebuilding Oline.
