Love his grit, leadership and his play. I don't get all the "criticism". I know the contract issue has turned some off, but I really don't get why some fans just don't like this kid.

I don't think it is about "liking Dak". I think everyone likes the guy. He as a lot of qualities to like, he is tough, plays hard, the players respond to him, etc. The issue is, can he be a consistent playmaker to the point that he can carry a team when things are going bad. He did that yesterday but its more rare than common for him. I don't need him to be perfect. I do need him to be consistent. He has a lot of peaks and valley's in his career, he has games he looks like a HOF QB and he has games he doesn't belong on an NFL field. So the question is really is he worth spending 40 mil a year on and giving up some talent around him and still be successful. He plays like he did yesterday, go for it. If he keeps being good/great one game or a quarter of game and then dog crap the others.. you can't justify tying up that type of money. But it's about liking the kid, I like him just fine, I watch his interviews, I just wish he was more consistent on his fundamentals to help keep the bad stuff away from him.

I get why they don't like him. They listened to some BSPN talking head who crapped on Dak and came here to repeat it and now don't have the cojones to admit they were wrong.

Statistically, Prescott had a better 2019 season than most signal callers in the NFL. He was second in the NFL with 4,902 passing yards and fifth with 8.2 yards per attempt, putting him ahead of all the highest-paid quarterbacks.

Wilson led the group with 31 touchdown passes. Prescott was right behind him with 30 scores. Wilson’s 106.3 passer rating was also first among the highest-paid quarterbacks. Prescott’s 99.7 passer rating was better than the other four players.

It does not matter if fans believe it, fans do not play in the game. If Dak teammates know it that is enough for me. Dak is going to have his critics and nothing he does will ever be good enough for them because they have put themselves in a position of not wanting to be wrong. In the end if Dak fails then he fails but I will back him the entire way.

And yet we were 8-8 and never won a game that we trailed at half time. I think yesterday was first game we won after trailing at halftime since 18. I know he has good stats, but he doesn't perform at a high level enough. If you can't see that, then I don't know what to tell you. He has not been one to carry the team up to this point, not on any type of consistent basis.

Dak would win a superbowl if he played for the Chiefs. Just give big mike time to get over these covid blues and the Ghost of the freckled puppet will be gone like christmas's past.
Dak is an incredible player and man, he makes everyone better around him, but he can only do so much.. We need help from coaching and the gift of time to get our inadequacies rectified.

And if you can’t see that it is not all Daks fault then I don’t know what to tell you. Dude, Jason Garrett has been the coach for the past 10 years.

He played a good second half of football against a team known for quitting after building big leads. He wasn’t so good last week or during the first half yesterday. So there, he played a good half of football which goes to one of the biggest criticisms which is his inconsistency. He is consistently bad during the first half of games if that makes you feel better.

Dak is bad -> Dak can only play good for a half of football

Whats next, Dak performs only in 3 quarters of football? Keep moving the goalposts, only way it will help you be right.

Wrong about what ??

Atlanta playing SOFT the last 5 minutes ?

Or was it the on side kick we were wrong about ?

And lets be honest, had Dak needed to drive us to a TD there, This poster would have never piped in .

1-8 prior to yesterday speaks volumes . Are we wrong about that ?

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut !!

When he has egg all over his face in Seattle , will you be right about that ??

Jokers !!

I have said since day one that his inconsistent play was one of several reasons why I don’t like him. The goalposts haven’t moved an inch with my opinion.
