What a difference a coach makes. We went from ST being less than an after thought to where now they are the highlight reels of the game.

yep...……..this part of being a HC, MM nailed. And another area where Garrett bumbled.

Imagine a reporter turning to the Clapper and asking for his input on what was said...

"Gotta stack good watermelon atop gooo-der waterme... uh..the big yellow one is the Sun!"

Not sure if Fassel's comments mean we'll see the kick again. Most likely, he would never say one way or the other because then the other team has to prepare for it.

I love how all of the talking heads are discrediting the Falcons players for not just "GrAbBinG tHe BaLL".

I'd love to see them go outside right now and try to snatch up or fall on a ball spinning on turf, end by end (we called it a copter kick when I played in high school). It's really, really difficult to decide how and when to grab for it or fall on it.

There is a significant chance to try to grab it or fall on it and for it to squirt out unexpectedly. Then you're the donkey for being the one who touched it first, if a Cowboys player then recovers it before it travels 10 yards.

Also, that ball was heading out of bounds until the last moment, where it suddenly starting heading downfield. Amazing design, perfect execution.

I doubt we'll see that same type of kick. Other teams know enough not to wait for it now.........although, it's still probably a hard one to get a hold of, so maybe he'll do it in hopes of a muff.

My high school team did this kick a few times over my years of playing. I don't remember exactly how often it worked, but it worked way more often than a high bounce squib kick. I was always a big dude so I was never on our hands team but even our most sure-handed guys had a hard time snagging it. It's hard to get a hold of or fall on top of.
