You guys think this is about money? I didn't get to keep up with him much in Denver but I mean he's out on the street now and teams are having offensive line problems.....did the 'deal fall through' or did he just not look good enough to play?

If he didn't look good enough, I would think that there would be no offer at all, not a deal falling through.

we fell just short  guess the figure Stevie wrote down on that Appleby's napkin didn't do it for Ronnie. We must love mediocrity with a passion.

rather go young guys let them work their way into NFL shape...youth is best and really the layers on the street, how much better are they then what we have?? last week TE was desperately needed in all the doom and gloom threads, they were given chance to play and stepped up..

The OL as whole should gel once the starters get set in place for more then agame and the backups are going to get better as they get field time..

That would speak volumes in a really, really bad way about McGovern and Biadasz if Leary is the better option right now than those two at guard.

I think Leary was more cheap insurance. In case Tyron missed time and Knight was still hurt. They reported Martin and Williams took reps at LT. So I imagine Leary was needed to fill in the guard position in a pinch.

Winning always cures everything. But the next 3 aren’t too scary in terms of pass rushing outside of Myles Garrett. Whom we should have Collins and Smith back for.

Thee were injuries league wide on Sunday. A better opportunity with more playing time and money may have opened up for Leary.

Folks need to stop looking for warm bodies in graveyards. NFL players get "old" in a matter of a few years. What a player did in 2015 means next to nothing in 2020.

My guess is that if Leary were still capable of playing well, he would already be an Eagle by now. The Eagle OL has been decimated by injury. Yet the Eagle OL held Aaron Donald to one tackle and no sacks on Sunday if I remember correctly. Go figure.

Any word on Smith and how he is doing? I guess we will just have to wait and see if he practices.
Hopefully Collins will be ready week 4. If we can get both of these guys back. And Knight and Steele looked decent. Williams is not as bad as many on here. But this place, for the usuals always needs a whipping boy(s). The OL does not need to bring anyone else in if these 2 get back come week 3 and 4.

The fact that they even tried to sign a veteran guard says their faith in Conner Williams is not in line with their public statements.

It means nothing but to improve the team depth overall.
Maybe it says something about McGovern as well. Or about Biadasz at OG.
