Worst division in the NFL!
7 wins is the magic # here and then one and done in the playoffs!

Too early to tell, it's happened in other divisions before, so not unprecedented, but I'd have to say 9 wins is more like it...
Dallas will have the NFC East locked down by early December.

The Dallas Cowboys?

No, I'd love that, but it ain't happening, IF this team "gels", it won't be until November at the earliest, I'd not be surprised at all if after the first half of the season they're 4-4. With the parity in the league, for Dallas to have it locked up by early December the Eagles would have to continue to play like they're doing, but they are well coached and have some talent, will "hang around" until late in the year I think.

Now by game 14 or so, yeah I could see that...

No one has any idea. Too early. It might be as low as 8 or as high as 11. No one knows.

The over / under is probably 8 now.

I’m not sure anyone in division beats a team in NFC West which could be the first division in NFL history to place all teams in the playoffs.
They're the bullies now. 49ers took big hit with injuries. Hawks, rams, and cards looking tough.

Philly getting some wounded back. Giants without saquon took a step backwards. WFT a big ? At least 10 wins will be needed.

For years folks have been saying NE got to the SB because they were in a very bad division. Now it's our turn.
I hate this logic.

Did it make it easier for them to get to the playoffs, sure. But they still had to beat all those teams in the playoffs lol. A one-year anomaly maybe that makes a difference, but the Pats did it for too long for the poor division to get much credit.

I agree with the sentiment of your post, it is too early to be sure of much. However, for 1 team to NEED 11 wins means the team in second HAD 10 wins. There is absolutely no way in heck that this division has a 10 and an 11 win team in it this year. Not even close to being close.

9 will more than likely win it outright but 8 might do it

i think Washington goes 7-9
Philly goes 8-8
Dallas may go 10-6 or 8-8
Giants may go 1-15

Kind of my point, just in a snarky back-handed way.

9 wins should get the division. So far the Cowboys are 1-1 and haven't played any division opponent. They should be able to sweep the Giants and the team that used to be the Commanders. Split with the Eagles. That is five more wins, so that would be 6-2. They need to win 3 of the 8 remaining non-divisional games to reach 9 wins.

That is doable, but if they can't beat good teams on the road, what is the point? If they are one and done in the playoffs, all they have done is ensure a late middle of the pack draft pick.

This Sunday's game will tell us a lot.

In all seriousness, I think 7 will do it.

We play in the Sun Belt Conference.

This happens a lot ....eagles start slow and we bury them. It’s gonna take 9 wins to win the division. 10 I think and you’re guaranteed nfce champs but these 7 win predictions are bogus
