How many points does Dallas have to score in Seattle?

So far, only a small handful of teams are playing defense right now. It's not just the Cowboys who are struggling. In fact, Seattle is struggling, too, and they've got guys going down to injury on defense. Not their usual defensive selves.

That said, Russell Wilson and his offense look like 40+ point waiting to happen Sunday, so how many does Dallas have to score to win this week?

I'm thinking 42. Pray for wind and rain, but otherwise, it's going to take a bundle.

And yes, I do know that games like this can suddenly be 19-13 out of nowhere, but I don't see that happening here. Hope so, but nah, don't see it.

You never know how these games will unfold.

Maybe we get lucky and Seattle pulls a Dallas and fumbles 10 times in the first quarter.

I think our defense needs to hold them to 27 for us to have a chance so i'll go 28 points.

It's going to be a super frustrating game because that little rat Russell Wilson will be running all over the place and distributing the ball quickly.

I'm thinking along the same lines.

I had an odd feeling about the LA game all along.

I thought Dallas was the better team but would lose in a tricky spot.

For some reason I feel like Dallas wins this game.

Not that they are even close to the better team, and not that they are any good at all really....but I feel like this is one of those games in the NFL where a team has virtually no chance on paper but comes out ahead in the end.

I do NOT see a Seattle blowout here.

You anti Adams people are about to see what the rest of us who wanted him meant (yet not for that price to be clear, but there were many that didnt want to part with one 1st for him).

No. We have to score at least 54 to win this game unless we control TOP and I’m not even joking.

Russell shredded the ATL defense. And although ATL’s defense is atrocious, so is ours.

In our defense though, we did turnover the ball 4 times, so they had short field. I can’t really get mad at them about that, but still. Our defense is pretty horrid.

Russ also destroyed the Patriots defense, and while it isn’t as good as last year’s, it’s still good, and ran by Bill Belichick, meaning it’s no joke.

Our defense doesn’t stand a chance. If Ryan and Goff, non Mobile QB’s can shred us, I cant even imagine what Russ is gonna do to us. He can run, he can slide, and he can throw. We’re in very big danger unless Dak and Co can throw all the way til Christmas.

The way to win is this:
We have to get turnovers (not gonna happen though so let’s skip this step)
Control TOP. This one is tougher. We have to get the lead first, which seems to be hard for this team. But we’re gonna have to run Zeke/Pollard a lot here. Use the ground game, hopefully that will open the passing game too (with their safety (or was he a corner? Not sure) being out, it should be a little easier for us to score.

Dak, Schultz, Zeke, Pollard, and the Receivers CANNOT make mistakes. I mean zero. None. NO penalties. NO fumbles. NO interceptions. WE CANNOT afford it. Not against this team.

Kellen has to use his best plays from the start. No waiting til the 2nd half, no waiting til we’re 17 points under. USE THEM AS IF WE WERE DOWN FROM THE BEGINNING!!! I don’t wanna see and Zeke plays up the middle on 1st and 10 and 2nd and 10!!! NOT the time and place for that.

Special teams has to execute better. I’m in the minority that liked the PLAYCALLS for special teams, but I didn’t like the execution. Hopefully Chris Jones works on his throwing more cause we’ll need it. I like Fassel’s implants on Special Teams. He’s doing well.

tl;dr: control TOP, keep defense and Russell Wilson off the field, work on special teams execution, STOP doing stupid things like fumbles and penalties. If we do all this, we MIGHT slide out with a win. Just MIGHT

I think we win here too. But I’m not sure how... I feel like if we go off the momentum of the final minutes of the last game, we’ll be good. I’m hoping the team starts to get together here.

Mid 40's, this has all of the earmarks of a shootout of epic proportions and of course since writing that they'll both run the ball 40 times and it will be a 16-14 game.

Usually a team has to alter their offense going into SEA because of the noise factor but they are limited to 70db's so that will not be an issue. the playbook is wide open as well as the audibles.

Both of these teams can run it and throw it with equal effect so it comes down to strategy and which one has the patience to try and play TOP ball and Carroll is more used to that but he also has a QB that has thrown 9 TD passes in 2 games and is the early MVP favorite and this will be the game of the week on that Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

One question I have about this game is will McC keep up his string of controversial decisions? I am getting used to this.

Why do I suspect that if Dallas loses 42-40 your complaint won't be about the defense, it'll be about Dak?
