That was the Pats who rang up points on SEA. That does not follow that we will!!!!

So far, only a small handful of teams are playing defense right now. It's not just the Cowboys who are struggling. In fact, Seattle is struggling, too, and they've got guys going down to injury on defense. Not their usual defensive selves.

That said, Russell Wilson and his offense look like 40+ point waiting to happen Sunday, so how many does Dallas have to score to win this week?

I'm thinking 42. Pray for wind and rain, but otherwise, it's going to take a bundle.

And yes, I do know that games like this can suddenly be 19-13 out of nowhere, but I don't see that happening here. Hope so, but nah, don't see it.

30. For some reason I'm thinking Dallas will control Wilson to enough of a degree that he may get good yards and some tds, just not enough to go off like he did this past weekend. Just look at the last 4 games between these teams - all relatively low scoring, most pts by either team to win was 24. So history would suggest we're not going to see a shootout. Of course you could say a shootout is due.

Seattle is last in the league in pass defense, but second in run defense. IF Zeke can bust loose for a few long gains, then the 'Hawks pass defense will be even more "doable".

Look for a big game for Lamb...

you never know how these games will unfold, but I'll guess the winning score will be somewhere between 28-31

This game to me screams of feeding zeke and doing lots of short dump off passes. This is one of those rare games where I believe that winning the time of possession could help give us the win. I don't need to remind you guys of this, but lets not forget the phrase "Any given sunday". The Cowboys are coming into this game with a different kind of confidence that could propel them to play better, and I actually still believe that this defense could be really good.. Forget Mike Nolan for a second, we have some other pretty good position coaches and they're in the process of figuring stuff out...

Do you guys remember how Aaron Rogers beat us and Dak at home by a narrow margin in that playoff series a few years ago? Well, this good thing is, we have that coach on our sideline now and that is one Mike McCarty. Big Mike is known for keeping his teams in games and coming back when they're down. I think it would be a good idea to not give up on our team just yet.

Mid 40's, this has all of the earmarks of a shootout of epic proportions and of course since writing that they'll both run the ball 40 times and it will be a 16-14 game.

Usually a team has to alter their offense going into SEA because of the noise factor but they are limited to 70db's so that will not be an issue. the playbook is wide open as well as the audibles.

Both of these teams can run it and throw it with equal effect so it comes down to strategy and which one has the patience to try and play TOP ball and Carroll is more used to that but he also has a QB that has thrown 9 TD passes in 2 games and is the early MVP favorite and this will be the game of the week on that Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

One question I have about this game is will McC keep up his string of controversial decisions? I am getting used to this.
What’s left on the McCarthy next dice roll menu? Fake FG, onside kick on the opening KO, Dak lines up as a receiver in a wildcat? Never punting like that HS Coach? That would all be fun. Lol!

That said, I think we’re going to need 35-40 to win.

I think we win here too. But I’m not sure how... I feel like if we go off the momentum of the final minutes of the last game, we’ll be good. I’m hoping the team starts to get together here.
In all honesty. We have played good against Seattle when we arent favored to win. And they are beat up on defense. We should get Tyron back (not that our OL played bad last week) and CeeDee is starting to find soft spots. I want to see some designed runs from Dak, 2 RB sets and giving screens to both Zeke and Pollard. We need to keep them off balance and win TOP. This is a statement game if we win.

We need to keep Wilson on the sidelines, been dealing with since his days as a wolfpup (wolfpack), and he would kill my heels.

Russell put 4 TDs right in the best cornerback Stephen Gilmore’s face on Sunday night. Made him like a complete rookie.

We need to put up 40. Our secondary will be completely decimated

agreed. TOP is huge here. We need to keep Russell off the field, and we need to keep our defense off the field.

If this defense plays the pass like theyve done the pass 2 weeks anything short of 40 and weve got no shot

This will be a shootout unless our defense figures something out. Seattle has some injury concerns of their own on defense.

I'm thinking we will have to score at least 34.

I'll just be happy if Dallas doesn't embarrass themselves. I'm never happy with a loss, but I'm not expecting Dallas to win. I'm not there yet with this team.
