The Jerry Jones philosophy of rewarding our own is so obviously flawed. The front office literally knows that the way they do business is not conducive to winning football games but they do not care. They prefer to make friends. Tyrone Crawford has an 8 million dollar base salary. You just can't make this stuff up.

I just don't think we have the personnel outside of A. Smith to run what Nolan wants, which is hybrid multiple fronts with two gap responsibilities. Lawrence in particular, yes he needs to step up, looks so awkward in this scheme. Seems extremely tentative. Our personnel fits Marinelli's one-gap penetrating 4 man line. Nolan has to play a scheme to fit the players, not force the players to fit the scheme.

Both player have drastically underperformed over the last year plus. Neither a big loss at this point. Lawrence is a major disappointment.

Oh boy. Another dumb analysis based on his work with the Falcons. A team that pretty much missed on every defensive draft pick when he was there. They simply ignored the D in just about every draft.
