Things I've said in the past few seasons:

-Zeke is one cupcake away from being a fullback
-Explosion is gone
-Can't make dudes miss at the 2nd level
-All that mileage caught up to him
-This is why you don't pay RB's

But rookie Zeke is BACK. The initial burst, the explosion. It's there again. And I'm surprised as hell, because when RB's rack up the mileage and the burst starts to fade....it's usually downhill from there, but Zeke took this off-season seriously.

And something I've always given him credit for, but even more so now with all the injuries around the league (McCaffrey, Barkley, Mostert, Mack, etc..)

Dude is durable as hell. He's a tank.

Oh and he does this:

Sorry Zeke. Dude's worth every penny.

I posted about his awesome blocks in another thread. It's nice to see a compilation of them together.

"Chip Block" does not really adequately describe some of those.

We need a name something the "wham block" which Madden always loved to reference.

This, that is why I always say, "the best ability is availability". That plays a part in a RB also.
especially running back, it's the one position where you're hot two or three years and then you're basically out of the league. Durability is not common at that position and is the main reason why a player like frank gore will make hall of fame (he has like 12 seasons of at least 1200 yards from scrimmage + is a great pass protection blocker)

Sure sounds like something you would say. It's not worth my time to search for your quote.

There are certain plays that stick with you in your memory forever, and the one this past weekend where he trucked over that safety, will always be in mine.

Zeke has been my favorite player on the Cowboys since he’s been drafted(along with Dak). I watched him play in Ohio state when I was living in Cleveland and was ecstatic when we drafted him

No joke I think dude might be slow.
*Ya know? after watching his rookie debut against the Rams in game 1, I was thinking while the gifts for the game were there in his saddle bags, the way he was being bumped/ pushed/ pretty much getting sent airborne flying ,after contact , I was thinking it'd be late season ( if not taking an entire off season b-4 He'd of fleshed out into an certifiably professional high end caliber of clutch receiver,,,er,,, if ever?):lmao2:

It's a long season.
Too many cupcakes out there.
Too many bars and women on there.
