Best blocking WR that I've seen...ever.
I've posted on here before, about Brown, that I never understood why he wasn't used in more of a Shannon Sharpe type of role with his size and speed relative to the position. He's a better blocker than Sharpe was, also.

Plenty of fans. Less vocal after four years but he’s always been a pet cat of this board

That's been my impression on Noah Brown too. Despite being initially hyped as Dez Lite, he's been a thoroughly unproductive WR. He's been dead weight as a receiving threat. A teeny, tiny blocking TE. But many never updated their evaluation of him accordingly.

This year, he's showing a little as a WR. Ok. But it's still just a little, and it's in his contract year. We're developing a guy for the team that signs him in free agency.

He's contributing. That's good. But with a 3WR base, we've really got nothing as backups. The most is Malik Turner. Turner, Brown, and Wilson are our depth. Not good enough to me. ST fodder, but not a single legitimate backup for a full game. If Cooper goes down, and he does, we've got no speed at WR. All 4.5+. That's not good.

He didn't hit him in the head or lead with his own head. Great clean hit. Props to Noah Brown.
But that’s not how it’s been called heretofore nor the way the rule reads: “A receiver attempting to catch a pass who has not had time to clearly become a runner. If the player is capable of avoiding or warding off the impending contact of an opponent, he is no longer a defenseless player.” It says nothing about leading with the head or hitting in the head. I think it’s clear Brown was defenseless per the rule. And this isn’t homer-ism; like I said, I seen quite number of instance in the first 2 weeks across the league.

He was my pet cat the year he was drafted, kept getting hurt. However, he's like glue, he just keeps sticking around. Kind of ironic he had a chance to shine considering the skill level of the three starters and Noah's position on the depth chart. It's nice to see. I don't believe in "embarrassing" riches, let's display everything they got.

Brown is a consummate 4th/5th WR. Good blocker and STer, appears to have a good attitude, and can make plays when called upon.

I've actually never understood this fan thing of begging for a starting quality 5th WR. He's not going to play much anyway.
