Numbers look a lot different if Julio doesn't drop that pass....
I mean.....I was gonna say the same thing. Nothing against him because I do agree with the title of this thread. I think he's for real. He and Lamb appear to be of the same caliber. They just look like they belong even in their rookie years and that's not something you are suppose to see right now.

That being said......He struggled at times on Sunday. I've seen people knock Chido and hype him up but to me Chido had a better showing IMO.

Agree with all of this.

6 CBs drafted before him. Two games into the season and I think he has been the best so far. Have not seen much of the others and I admit to a homer biased opinion.

Seriously, I would not trade him straight up for the #3 pick Okudah. No joke.

The way the league is now set up to heavily favor an offense. No corner is ever going to be a shutdown player like Sanders or a few others were. They’re going to give up a big play or two each game. Especially against elite receivers. Did anyone see what DK Metcalf did to last years defensive POY Gilmore? Digs and company get to face him next week.
But Diggs looks to have all of the athletic ability necessary to excel. More importantly. He seems to have a ton of confidence. Moves on after a big play.

Philly fans sure did notice Metcalf on Sunday night. They could have drafted him but chose that dude from Stanford(?) who caught all those TDS, JJ Arcego-White or something.

Funny comment from one Eagle fan: Metcalf has more yards and TDs in 5 quarters this year than Arcego-White has in his career. Something like that.

Don't get me wrong, I love Gallup. Could you imagine had Dallas taken Metcalf over C.Williams?

I’ll say the one thing I’ve been most impressed with is his willingness to tackle. That was my one major concern of his coming out of Bama. I was concerned we were going to get Mo Claiborne 2.0 in that regard but Diggs has shown he’s not adverse to the physical aspect of the game which is half the battle with DBs.
Agreed.

He is physical to where he would probably be our best safety if they put him there (which isnt saying much).

Problem is that he is already our best corner.

Sure he has gotten beat and dropped a pick or two, but he still needs to grow, and he will.

Get me Anae and Biadasz on the field soon please.

AJ Terrel of the Falcons looked good against us. Only allowed 3 catches but it seems like Dak was attacking everyone else.

Okudah just got done in by Davante Adams but that says where he's at. They have him already guarding the opposing teams best receiver.

CJ Henderson has been pretty good.

No offense, but getting done in by Davante as a rookie is barely a notch below getting done in by Julio as a rookie.

D.Adams is a stud.

I started to do a "Kaiser Rolls" writeup on the Atlanta game but I dont think there is a lot new to add. But one thought was, explain to me why Diggs didn't go in the top half of the first round?

Wasn’t Terell going to be the pick if Lamb was not there? Thought they had him in for a visit?

Maybe not, Falcons picked before Cowboys.
