Why aren't we going after ET?

I haven't been following the ET story much, but with 2 of our 3 starting CBs now out.... our secondary is battered, beaten, and our defense has been atrocious. ET is an all-pro and could make a big impact... what's going on here?

First NO TEAM is interested in Thomas. He's just sitting there and nobody wants him. Second he's a safety and we lost corners. Because he's a headcase.

Evidently he's got a lot going on or a team would've signed him by now.

You can't just look at it from a Cowboy perspective anymore.

Declining talent + bad attitude = no job. Not a hard equation to figure out considering no nfl team has even bothered to have him in for a workout

Yeah theres some issues there.

I said if he didnt sign quickly after week one he may sit out all year.

Would be typical for the Jones twins to sign him in the offseason and count on him and ignore the position yet again in the draft.

Been saying all along that he doesnt think he did anything wrong in Baltimore and wants the same contract.

No player is too much of a pain to deal with if they still have talent and can boost up your team.

Teams aren't touching him. I hate to take that approach on free agents because nobody touched Cam Newton either and he looks like he can still play. All it takes is one team.

I think we are 0 for....if Aldon continues to do well he will be our first accomplishment there in recent memory. All of them have not been worth it. I'd probably give Pac-Man Jones 2nd.....Unless I'm missing someone.

ET's teammates went to management and wanted him out of Baltimore. He's had off the field issues and frankly isn't the same player he was in his prime.

Baltimore released him a month ago. There are injuries throughout the NFL. Do you think it's an accident that no one has signed him?

It’s not that simple. Why does character issues always translate to expecting all players to be “choir boys”. No serious fan expects choir boys. But we should expect a guy to respect teammates, listen to coaches, and show up to meetings and on time. All those were things he didn’t do in Balt.

That’s not about being saintly. It’s about being professional.
