Does it bother anyone that we are just figuring out now that Griffen needs to have a hand on the ground? Lawrence has struggled mightily as well. Aldon Smith is really the only DE that has played out of 2 point stance. It shows.

McCarthy was supposed to be "we'll fit the scheme to the players".

But I'll give them credit if they make a quick switch to get hands on the ground for Griffen and Dlaw.

Lock him up for a few more years. I love that he cares and wants to get better. He’s going to wreck havoc the rest of the way

Well let's hope so. If we want to beat Seattle we're going to have to wreak havoc.

This is going to make a lot bigger difference for DLaw then Griffen. But getting those two on the field with Aldon Smith all at the same time is going to be sweet.

So I guess this was an excuse for Griffen but not Lawrence.

Paycheck a factor I suppose.

I'd say its possible Lawrence has been around here too long sucking up the contaminated culture, and probably still thinks that Jerry is the man in charge...case in point to the highest degree.

I love that they're making adjustments, but why announce it to the league days before the game?!

Griffen played many snaps with his hand down in the Falcons game. I didn't count but I would estimate about half.

Both Griffen and Lawrence should be playing end in a three-point stance. Aldon Smith should be DPR in a two-point stance, where he can move around to cause havoc.

Those three should be on the field together as much as possible with Woods/Poe/Hill/Crawford rotating as the tackles.

I like variety, but it only works if the foundation is good.

Thank the Good Lord. One area already where this coaching staff is better than the last bozo regime- they actually make adjustments that best fit the personnel. What a novel concept, eh?

Yes, so nice seeing us making adjustments! Let's see how this impacts Griffen.

I’m loving this. Adjustments made during the game AND after the game after seeing our mistakes? The Garrett squad could never.

already seeing improvements with this coaching staff. They may be overly aggressive at times, but they are making a positive impact overall.

Yup, and I think this team is starting to gel nicely.

Wow this coaching staff actually does make changes. When I thought I lost hope regarding Nolan. He makes an adjustment to fit the players to his scheme. When was the last time we did anything like that?
LOL I hear ya! If this was under the last staff we would be hearing we just have to perform better!

first off wrong !

it happens when new staff comes in and brings a specific scheme with them, they were talking to one of the best ever DL ,ONE sir charles Haley, and he had to do it a few times in his career and while its tough adjustment , he did it..

so calling a coach a name like that when you are a little spec of fan not a coach, is showing your lack of character.

Nolan and the DL coach have simply saw a need for more production and is willing to make adjustments. Great players should be able to play in both stances BTW others have done it..BUT im glad they are trying to find a way to make the team more Productive …

proof look in mirror when using words like that..
Yeah wasn’t thinking well on that - was just pi$$ed that we fired an OL coach who had them doing dumb stuff while this guy gets a free pass because he’s MM’s bunker buddy. Tired of this franchise struggling. Sorry for word choice. Peace
