I know most don't want to hear it, but we're simply not going anywhere until we fix the D. Pretty sure McC is well aware of that. Galley and Diggs are a good start. Need tons more talent on D, though at this point.

I remember just riding in a limo (my bud JP was the driver, he was known back then) back in the late 90's and Nicky C all full of C dropped in on my back seat and we cruised 6th.
It was a Saturday, but the blocks were lifted and I was just along for the ride.
He was a funny dude.

Met him once later, on a more professional level, and he had zero recognition of me.
lol
I wasn't surprised.

Never understood why people get so emotional about the R-word.

Every year is a new season with a new roster. Good organizations are constantly retooling to get better.

No. Not at all. I think you're misunderstanding what rebuilding is. The Blue Jays were rebuilding years ago still are. They blew up the whole roster. We havent done that nor do we need to. We are far from a Jacksonville and are not rebuilding.
I think maybe it's you who don't understand that there are several different methods to rebuild.

Comprehension is not your strong suit. Or brain activity. Or simply being a human being.
I despise quitters. To me they are the scum of the earth. You probably have no clue what fragging is but that’s what happens to them in time of crisis. Because they cost lives. I can’t stand them.

You post makes zero sense as far as fitting into this thread.

Not with this roster. Now that we finally found our coach, and it’s making such a difference.

You’ve been saying for years we need to put some strong draft investment in the defensive side of the trenches. The Jones FO for some reason has never received that memo. We have had mediocre to bad defenses for a very long here time in Allas. Yes, that’s the correct spelling since “there’s no ‘D’ in Dallas”, lol.

I swear Jerry can never seem to draft or trade for enough WRs. It’s like our GM is building a Madden juggernaut or he plays in some secret fantasy football league with the ghost of Al Davis.

Fans don’t want to hear the word “rebuild” because it means we wasted another window of talent.

yes, we do. i know coaching can help improve it to a point, but lb looks to be a serious problem. time to quit counting on anything from sean lee. time to put a fork in him. and lve's future is looking iffy to me.
really sad about LVE but I'm there with you. The D needs an add at each position

I think we’ve got a fairly decent DL, but are weak at safety and injured at LB. I’m also not a huge Nolan fan. If we get healthy and coached up, we CAN be decent on the back end.

We have a lot of short term contracts on D right now, so whatever happens this season isn't permanent. Everybody better be searching for candidates to bring on board.
