Gilmore plays hyper aggressively. It makes him tougher to beat, but he also almost never has safety help. Diggs can play that aggressive and not worry as much because hell almost always have Safety support.

It's not like Metcalf is some unstoppable force. He has eight catches for 187 yards and two scores. CD has 11/165. Metcalf is a terrible route runner who's really only gonna hurt you running in a straight line. That's exactly where Diggs is best because of his ball skills and size. I think Wilson is gonna lob one up and be shocked that Diggs out works Metcalf for it.

He also plays with zero margin for error because he's almost always playing without safety support so if he does get beat, or misses a tackle, the damage is far greater. Diggs won't be on an island. I also don't expect Metcalf to keep putting up those numbers. He can't do anything but run fast in a straight line. NFL defenses are too smart and athletic. They'll eventually just start sagging off of him and making him cut.

While it's true that Wilson is always a threat, especially this year, their defense is extremely suspect.
This Cowboys staff will be obliged to go full tilt offensively and play aggressively on defense.:thumbup:

Here's hoping Kellen Moore and our defensive staff plays "balls to the wall" in that difficult matchup.
