They love Lawrence...if you thought they have hung onto Crawford for too long, it will be nothing compared to Lawrence.

Wow that sucks. 3 more years. He made out like a bandit. Even worst than Crawfords contract.
Never liked that deal, but we were desperate for pass rushers then, and players always get payed when they get the Jones in that position.

He and Jaylon are gonna financially hamstring us for years. I hate those signings so much

True, both what I viewed as positives at the time. Boy oh boy was I wrong. I am still baffled by how on gawds green earth Jaylon looked so good in 2018.

Unfortunately we are stuck with his 4-5 sacks a year for a long time

It's not ideal for a team to pay the position big money, but the guys is earning his. Far more than guys like Smith and Lawrence aren't earning theirs.

Exactly if you are going to spend elite money it needs to be justified with elite production. While we can argue you can pull a rb off the scrap heap and have him end up a stud, one can also argue he ends up as Joseph Randal, Tashard Choice, Alf, DMC, Hambrick ect.... Zeke really is that good and appears to me that he showed up hungry despite already cashing in, which is more than I can say for the hotboyz.

Zeke looks great this year, even better than 2018-19 in my opinion. Leaner and quicker. Lawrence looks to have cashed out when he cashed in, and Smith looks like he'll simply never play up to his contract, just based on his limitations.
