Yup. Minus Baltimore. Only defense ive seen thats elite this season. Also one of the healthiest so it makes sense.
Real talk though. That Patrick Queen kid out of LSU is an animal at linebacker. I have my eye on him.

Last week you said, and I quote: "This is a superbowl team".

Always inconsistent with your terrible takes you are.
Yet he pulls it off in a near flawless type of manner.

It's pure genius.

noted this is bookmarked for crow eating lol if we have Knight and Steele outside once again, anything's possible..

Crow eating? Bookmark this: there is no way in the world Taco gets a sack in the Seattle-Dallas game this Sunday. I'll bet you $10,000. Forget that, $100,000. You game? :muttley:

Tannehill has played lights out in their regular season games.
point missed they switched QBs to one who failed in KA and changed their scheme and turned a season completely around..its proof no matter how teams start and how bad it looks its always how you finish that determines the season as a lot of these early games and records will change and will change a lot..

The only clear way to win this game is to do everything possible to keep Wilson in the pocket. He will convert every 3rd down against us if he breaks containment.
Use Sean Lee as a spy...oh wait. Use LVE as a spy...oh wait. Use Jaylon as a spy. Oh wait, he can't change directions. Use Joe Thomas as a spy?

My point being Belichick usually figures a way to at least slow down opponents no matter what his roster looks like. That didnt happen. Also Metcalf made Gilmore look pretty ordinary much of the game.

Yeah I agree.. but.. We just faced Julio Jones, Ridley, and Hurst. It doesn't get much tougher than that.

Dallas isn't in for any kind of surprise as far as WR's go. They have already faced 2 of the best WR units in the league and they go against a great unit in practice.

My #1 worry is that little rat at QB running around and making plays. Especially if they establish the run.

Dallas historically speaking (recent history at least) does not fare well in shootout games..when we are forced to play near flawlessly, we always seem to lose..

I know everybody is probably going to point to last week as a counter argument..but last week, and this is going to sound crazy, wasn't exactly a shootout..it was a blowout the entire game until Dallas stole it at the end..so, imo, that doesn't fit the criteria here

KC sure likes our defensive castoffs. Damien Wilson, Anthony Hitchens, and Taco Charlton.

yeah i got your point and agree. a lot of people don't give Tannehill any credit for last year because he was labeled a failure in Miami. I was simply adding that he played very well.

the TD he threw this weekend with defender right in his face. Wow.

Special teams and third downs will be the key in this game. The Seahawks are 10 yards per punt better than the Cowboys in average. Their average starting field position is their own 31 yard line, while the Cowboys is their own 25. The Cowboys need to outperform their numbers here to help close the gap.

On third down, the Seahawks defense allows conversions at a clip of 53%. That's even worse than the Cowboy defense (50%), which has been awful. On offense, the Cowboys also convert third downs at a higher clip (40% to 37.5%). They need to take advantage of this, and make some stops on defense. Without success in these two areas, they will not win.

Kind of hard for a Chief's defensive lineman to get a half of a sack, when Dallas is playing the Seahawks.

Those stats have us closer to each other than I expected. I always get hyped up for playing the Seahawks, which is weird because I'm not really a Seattle fan.

Before the season, this game in Seattle looked like a very tall task. Recent injuries suggest the same.

However, there's certainly an opening here.

Seattle has one pass rusher, and they just lost him. Bruce Irvin is done. Taco Charlton not only starts for the Seahawks, he's probably their best rusher.

In other words, no pass rush at all.

Seattle has two defenders - Wagner and Adams - and a bunch of nobodies with them. This is a bad defense much like our own.

Yes, Russell Wilson has thrown 9 touchdown passes in eight quarters, and the Seahawks offense will be hard to stop.

But....the Cowboys should score at will, too. Seattle offers very little defensive resistance.

We could see 80+ points this weekend. Dak and Wilson could throw for 500 yards each. A thousand yards of offense.

That seems the only way to take this one.

Taco plays for the Chiefs. The Seattle DL is L.J Collier, Poona Ford, Jarran Reed and Benson Mayowa. You are right that it is not a big name line, but Mayowa has a little game. He has as many sacks as any Cowboys DL.

The bigger problem for Dallas is going to be the Seattle WRs. DK Metcalf had a pretty good day last week against Stephon Gilmore, the best CB in the league. Dallas has to double team Metcalf which means someone needs to lock up with Locket. With Brown and Awuzie out, the Cowboys are limited with what they can do. If Diggs is hurt too, then they are pretty screwed.

There seems to be a common theme, stopping the guy that has 2 less TD passes than incomplete passses..which is absolutely bonkers.

I'm with the group that see this being an offensive, pushing 100 points and 1100 yards, type of game.
