The way we win this is control the ball, TOP, keep Wilson on the bench and for god sakes protect the football.

Nope...…..………….outscore by pressing on the gas. Running Zeke will only do one thing...…………..limit our own scoring.

Taco will get more sacks than dlaw this game and for a much cheaper price....heck he had more sacks in 6 games last year than dlaw the entire year.

Wow...……….just think how pathetic that fact truly is.

No one has really run wild on them but that's probably because they've been passing at will. Jamal Adams is more effective against the run than in pass coverage, as the Patriots demonstrated several times on Sunday.

Turn the receivers lose. When they overcompensate to stop that then send Zeke into the spaces created by it.

No 12th man is huge. Few teams, if any, enjoy a better home field advantage under normal conditions.

The Seahawks can still pump noise into the stadium on Sunday.

As they have been doing since it opened.

Got my names wrong.

Taco is a Chief. Benson Mayowa is the guy in Seattle. Hard to keep track of those two.

In a week, Taco will probably be a Seahawk, and Mayowa will be on his second stint with the Chiefs.

They're only allowed 75 dB, which is like a fart under the covers in a stadium.

Before the season, this game in Seattle looked like a very tall task. Recent injuries suggest the same.

However, there's certainly an opening here.

Seattle has one pass rusher, and they just lost him. Bruce Irvin is done. Taco Charlton not only starts for the Seahawks, he's probably their best rusher.

In other words, no pass rush at all.

Seattle has two defenders - Wagner and Adams - and a bunch of nobodies with them. This is a bad defense much like our own.

Yes, Russell Wilson has thrown 9 touchdown passes in eight quarters, and the Seahawks offense will be hard to stop.

But....the Cowboys should score at will, too. Seattle offers very little defensive resistance.

We could see 80+ points this weekend. Dak and Wilson could throw for 500 yards each. A thousand yards of offense.

That seems the only way to take this one.
Doesn't it always seem like our offense plays down to bad defenses?

Seattle has given up 970 yds of total offense which is the worst in the league. All we need is our defense and special teams to make a few plays. We get two takeaways and we win by 10+.

Yup.

And you don't even have to look at the stats. I've watched both games, and their defense is soft as a baby's butt.

Actually, last year it feasted on the Giants, Commanders, and Dolphins. Most of our points and offensive stats came in those 5 games alone.

No surprise those 3 teams drafted in the Top 5.

Unfortunately, they were 3-8 and struggled mightily in the other 11 games.

Yes, there are exceptions, and maybe the absolute worst defenses are those....but how many games have we thought the offense would just run over the other team, only to be stifled to a less than mediocre performance?

It's that dastardly red zone.

Dallas moves the ball just fine until the throwing windows shrink up. Then, we kick way too many field goals.

How does a team cover for a soft defense? And both of these defenses are soft.

Old theory is you run the ball, play TOP, play keep away and your D on the sideline. But at some point it changed from a Time Of Possession to Points Off Possessions game. That point was when the NFL decided that more scoring meant more viewers.

Which is easier to do? Score more points or prevent your opponent from scoring? There are no more shut down D's, just inept O's. The best CB in the league got frustrated into fighting by the new breed of WR this past Sunday in SEA.

Any HC that tries to play keep away will not keep his job. He has to score on the scoreboard not the clock. The best way to beat a potent offense is with a potent offense, just like the Cowboys did on Sunday.

Look at it from a HC's perspective. His owner will not be happy with a loss but he will be even unhappier with a low scoring one. Today's game is all about fantasy players and gamblers and the NFL has even joined up with them. More scoring means more viewers and more money.

Booger wanted a HC with a lot of scoring in his background and just think of those scores with Favre and Rodgers.

The Cowboys do not win by defending; they win by attacking.

Or score at will ourselves.

Dak will have all day to throw unless they max blitz all game. Seattle has no pass rush.
I love how your building your alibi to explain why Dak will have another great game again.

lol i knew someone signed taco...wasn't sure who. they are journeymen for a reason. Glad we took advantage of mayowa's most productive year. Hope we get a pass rush soon.

He will, and he's going to have to. Pretty much every quarterback will against that defense. They've given up almost 1,000 yards in two games.

Then next week, the Browns will move through us like hot butter again, and we'll need to put up another 35.

Seattle has no pash rush. Zero. Atlanta and New England moved at will with no resistance. Their secondary is terrible, as are their linebackers other than Wagner.

Terrible defense. No 12th man. Zeke will run wild, and Dak will be playing pitch and catch while he eats a sandwich in the pocket.
That would be nice to see. Elliot with 150 from scrimmage and Dak with 350 and 3 or 4 TDs WITH 0 INTS... If one of these QBs throw a pick it could be the difference. I do think we will either have a pass rush or shut down there run. Our Defense will concentrate on one or the other.

Which means we are looking at a good old fashioned defensive stalemate. Lol I kid, it should be a barn burner and will be highly entertaining.
