Well that's what kind of confuses me. I like Budda Baker but I didn't think he performed well enough to be one of the highest paid safeties. I don't see Woods getting that type of deal though.
He didnt. And Woods wont get that but he'll probably get more than what Stephen will pay.

Look, I've had to tell about 4 other posters this recently and I'm gonna tell you the same. Let's keep it football. You disagree with me that's fine. But these side comments insults...I'm just over it and I'm tired of reading it from posters as well. I won't contribute to it.
That’s fine, then stop accusing me of saying things I never said. Personally, I think that’s about the biggest insult there is...accusing and lying about something someone never said to prove a point.

Ok well let's be big boys here and address any issues you have. But we don't have to resort to name calling is all I'm saying. BTW, you did say it was personal with you and Zeke. I did not make that up. You said you didn't like the guy.

I can’t stand the guy but I don’t see how you can’t tell the difference between my opinion of him as a person and my opinion of him as a player and his contract and where we drafted him. If I thought o him as a player as I do as a person he would be dead last but since I say he’s somewhere between 5-10, that we wasted money on him and a draft pick than thats considered a personal insult?

Unlike his fan boys, I use history with regards to RB’s and stats compared to his peers to back up my stance. How can that even be debated? That would be like you telling me he had the most rushing yards in 2016, post a link to those yards and I say “nah, I don’t believe those numbers, other RB’s had more yards”. It’s absurd.

PFF....

It benifits someone's point = awesome
It doesn't benifit someone's point = PFF sucks

People will use click bait articles from journalists but throw out the ideas of PFF that dedicates more resources than practically any other site.

Now I always wondered if they curve based on stats such as strength of schedule. Dallas plays in argurably they worst conference in football while some teams have legitimate teams to deal with

They do not its just a strict grading based on every play from every game

This is why I don't like PFF. I like what they attempt to do, but no amount of metrics can convince me that 35 WRs are playing better than Amari, 78 are playing better than Lamb, and 8 RBs are playing better than Zeke.
I don’t think you understand what PFF is then.
They don’t claim to be that precise, especially over a short sample.

Say a guy is rated in the top 10-20% of his group over an entire season, you can conclude he was damn good. Same with a guy being bad, mediocre, etc.

You can’t take a two game sample and draw the concrete conclusions you’re drawing.

They lowered Zeke this week when he literally destroyed two Falsons and sent them to the sidelines.
Sometimes you gotta grade beyond 1 play at a time and look at effect on the game.

how do you figure? do you watch every snap of every single game to put a better grading system together? Or you are just salty that dak is 6th in the nfl
Their only accurate when it comes to QBs like Dak clearly being a top QB in the league.

when it comes to most other skill positions they’re so hit or miss because it doesn’t really account for the fact that teams game plan for specific players.

I actually think they have gotten better through the years but yes scheme and overall game effect are totally negated by just judging each play as a plus, draw or minus.

Any system can reward a QB who throws for 450 yards with zero INT or Aaron Donald crushing guys every play but it is really hard to handle the median guys.

Nice Xavier Woods the 3rd best safety in the nfl right now?
Ouch for Jaylon and LVE......Terrible grades for what we thought was a strength on our team.
And look at our front 7 as a whole. PPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYUUUUUUUUUU that stinks.
Only Joe Thomas and Maybe Aldon Smith looks apart.

I expect that Schultz benefits a lot from being the last option any defense is going to worry about, and Belldozer could be about as good. Drops last week from Schultz, a fumble this week. Mistakes. Don't stick with a consistent screw up.

Belldozer gives a lot more for blocking, and he could take similar dump off passes as the last option. I'd rather go with him for TE.

CD taking jet sweeps fills a role that might have otherwise put Pollard on the field more.

Between Belldozer playing well, and Pollard being less needed as a complementary run threat, looks like Bell at TE beats Pollard at RB/WR role for the 5th man.

Williams still clearly the worst starting olineman, underperforming backups Biadasz and Knight.

How many more games of this until they make a change?

Laughable indeed. Especially to other NFL players. Theyd laugh you out the room like Landon Collins laughed at Max Kellerman for saying hed rather face Barkley than Zeke. Yup pure laughter
I couldn’t care less what other players say, I’m sure I could find quotes from other players about different RB’s but who cares? You go ahead and support your stance due to the eye test and what a few other players say, I’ll go ahead and use stats.

I don’t care if Emmitt Smith said zeke is the best running back ever, I care about how many defenders he makes miss, how elusive he is, how fast he is his, how many broken tackles he has, how many yards from the LOS he has and how many times he doesn’t fumble. 2 fumbles out of 3 carries, one that resulted in a TD isn’t a good start.

Great attempt a pathetic defense of zeke. Unfortunately for you, what other players say doesn’t win games or make him the best RB, stats do.
